I'm reading a biography of Teddy Roosevelt. Not going to give the title because I'm not enjoying it very much. (How could the author possibly make such an interesting and vivid person into such a dull book?!)
But there were several others at our library so I'll probably swap to a different one, and give the title when I find one that is an entertaining read as well as being informative.
Education is not enough, it must also be fun to read!

Agreed! If it's not fun (and you don't have to read that particular book for some reason), life is too short to slog through it.

In addition to the Ersatz Elevator, I also started Peace Is Every Step by Thích Nhất Hạnh

Ooh, Raven cycle. Now I need to retread those, too. I'm really looking forward to the next book.

Right now I'm reading Magic Stars by Ilona Andrews. It's part of an ongoing series, a spin off novella from the Kate Daniels series.

I'm working on the Shadow of a Lover by Miura Ayako. The sexism is pretty infuriating.

would have done it in four books
There's a milkman waiting in the sky.
He likes to deliver dairy so long as it's homogenized.
There's a milkman waiting in the sky.
He drives a rundown milk truck
And his milk's been pasteurized.

He told me;

Let the bovines moo it!
Let the bovines chew it!
Let the bovines boogie
Down, down dah dah dah
Dah dah dah dah
Dah dah dah dah...

Taking a break from biographies and reading "Beyond World's End" by Mercedes Lackey & Rosemary Edghill.

I have a feeling this might be a more engaging book if I'd read the others in the series (there are clearly others in the series. I thought it was a standalone, but it was SUPER OBVIOUS that it was part of a series) first.

Still kinda interesting, though.
