though, moving does mean packing, lots of packing. and hoping a car ride doesn't freak Lily and Pippin out too much

I'm actually curious to how the cage doesn't move around too much. Do you put a seatbelt? :o

I was sort of thinking about puting them in a kennel or their plastic running balls for the move, still trying to figure it out

I'm sort of thinking, put a few carrot pieces in there with them, should hopefully keep them relaxed (or some paper that they can shred and turn it into a nest, they like that)
luckily the move isn't for a whole month, so it should be plenty of time to figure that stuff out (and packing)

I think with snack foods, they like ham or eggs a bit more (and Cheerios) but those types of snacks have to be very much limited since they're high in protein/sugars/sodium

I sometimes forget rats and mice can and will eat pretty much anything edible...

there's still stuff they can't eat too
