It may be possible on certain circumstances. It had happened once already. I think Firn even posted here, in this thread that when the knuffel disappears (it was on a low amount then), we might not get a new one for a few days. I don't remember if it was because she did not have the knuffel finished or it was about Starkad's free time though...

if any knuffel are left on the moment the knuffel expire the knuffels left disappear.
And she can only put in a new one if she is completely done with the design and Starkad can implement it in the system. :}
