Idk, from what I've heard, loans can cost even more with fees and such than just paying out of pocket :mcgasp:

thanks, I'll try :mcglee:

Yep, but I just can't imagine my parents paying all that money... and in time too. Like for example, monthly, I have to pay almost 1k for housing and dining! $933.75!!! D: Then there's the yearly tuition cost, books, and other stuff...
I hope by working a part time job in my second year could help them financially.

woah :mcomg:
it almost sounds like it would be cheaper to rent a one bedroom or studio apt! (not sure how much those go for where you'll be though)
it must be a pretty nice school though with all the fees :mcgasp:

Ah, so many factors contribute to this...
First of all, I joined this program/scholarship for Honors where you're required to stay in dorms for the first two years. That's only one of the requirements. I only joined because I was getting a free Apple product >3> Most likely being laptop. I mean. How great is that.
Secondly, first year dorming is required for first time freshmen, unless you fill out a form to be excused.
And third... finding a place to live/apartments/houses... is almost impossible. Still possible, but you have very little luck. My college is in this tiny town, in fact, I think like the college is the central point.

I wouldn't say it's a grand school. It's a little average. Trust me, other schools are much more expensive. I think it's just a little expensive for me because of the food and housing.

Sorry for rambling orz

oh, I gotcha. and an Apple product, that's pretty neat! maybe it'll be one of those tablets with a keyboard it can hook up to, for portability and whatnot.
and a small town sounds nice *nods*

feel free to ramble :mchappy:

I've searched the program and it seems like in one year, the students got an Apple Macbook. Then in another year, students got IPads.

To be honest, I'm not much of an Apple fan. If it's phone, I'll get Samsung. If it's computers, I'll get HP. ^^; But. it's free. And you know how expensive Apple is... -_-;;
Right~ :D People think I'm crazy because there's nothing to do there and are wondering why I'm going there in the first place... But I think that's the charm!

>w<~

I don't have much experience with Apple products, I do very much like my Ipod though (and Itunes, makes finding/buying foreign music or just individual songs pretty nice).

a lot of people seem to prefer cities. I'd love to move to a small town or the middle of nowhere, just surrounded by trees/fields ect. cities are just... too many people, everywhere is always crowded (and when you're socially withdrawn or have social anxiety, it's hard to find anything to do outside of the home, or that's how it seems/feels to be)

Me neither. Actually, I have no experience with Apple products. But just from what people say and what I read online, it's not a product I would want to buy...

I feel you!! Although I might not have social anxiety, I really like being alone. One thing I'm afraid about when I date is how much of my time will be taken lol
Not that I wouldn't sacrifice my time for my significant other; I totally would! It's just... I hope I wouldn't get as many calls and texts and invitations to go out like my previous relationship... Gah. I wouldn't mind, it's cute that they want to spend their time with me. But. I don't know. orz

oh, like the new iPhone how it won't have headphone jacks and make you buy overly priced wireless headphones :mcshout:
I hope whenever I end up having to get a new iPod it still has headphone connection, especially with mainly using it for music and a few aps.

I don't date, but I'd see sort of a moderation. like hang out a bit, but also be mindful of the space that people need, or just hang out at home, lazing and watching movies or reading with the other person. Idk
