We don't really celebrate Halloween, some children goes to the shops (not houses) and some give them candies, but it's not the rule. We've got bigots and dickheads of all sorts that shout "Halloween it's a pagan ceremony to the Devil, brought by americans and it destroy the cultural roots of our society!" (I'm not even kidding, I've just translated a post found in facebook...). They don't even research a little bit, otherwise the'll found a shitload of references in our history that shows that the festivity it's present (in slightly different ways) in our culture. But, whatever, who wants to celebrate it with a party does it anyway, so it's all good XD
Oh, but in November we have a similar festivity, it's called "San Martino" and the children dress up has knights (usually with a red blanket on the shoulder and a paper hat on the head XD) and go in the shops, they sing a little song banging on pots with wooden spoons and get candies and money! I loved doing it as a child!
BTW, have you seen the Monthly Treasure? It's beyond beutiful i want it!
