yea, have the warm/swim weather of spring, then the rainy seasons of fall with all the pretty leaves and such. sort of just a rain season instead of a snow season to help regrow the trees that lose their leaves and such

it seems like Meadow has stuck again
oh, Lil' doesn't get bad, like she doesn't bite or anything (unless you count when she gets nippy, but that's just play bites). she usually just gets super panicky and skittish around new people to the point that I sometimes have to move her to another room to help her anxiety go down. like with people she doesn't know, all they have to do is simply cross their legs and she'll dart to the other side of her cage and hide.

oh that's neat, I wonder if the weather there is similar to Oregon since they're kinda close. my mom's always telling me about how the weather was when we lived there (I was only there till about the age of 2, so I don't remember anything there), but it sounds nice

I think the only place I've been outside of where I'm at is Wisconsin, it was so beautiful there. low humidity and tons of hills and trees and deer. so pretty. I don't remember where in Wisconsin it was... but it would be neat to go back

she's acting just like normal too, like nothing happened. Pip was super happy she was back, and Lily sniffed a bit at Meadow (she seemed to like her or at least not mind her being there)
you can still see the muscle where her skin was open, but the skin is healed to the muscle and she's just on an antibiotic she takes mixed with baby-food to prevent infection stuff from coming back. (whenever I take her out of her cage she starts exploring, like "I know this place! this is home!")

I think Meadow is officially her name, she's starting to recognize it now too which is neat.
I know you can potty train rats, but I never got around to it or not really sure how to go about it, since it's hard to tell when they bathroom sometimes, but Lily and Pippin poo where they're supposed to (they seem to be to sleepy to pee in the right place sometimes though, so they pee on the upper level but and Pip pees on their beds at times)

why inconvenient? or just a lot of schoolwork so not much time to wander?

yea, she actually play-wrestled with Pip last night, I had to separate them since Lily's still healing and such. but it was nice to see her able to do that though ^.^

Lol no, but because I'm a student I'll be needing a lot of resources, my town isn't really right for that. I need to drive to Target, unlike back in my home town I could walk for about 10-15 minutes and be all good.

Idk, Meadow needs to figure out where to poo, she poos where she sleeps and everywhere else she wants in her cage
maybe she'll learn from scent after I get her in with Lily and Pippin

I guess that would be a bit of a downfall for a small town, with long drives to certain stores you need often :\

what Lily and Pippin would do for playing is sort of a wrestle then just clean each other. but when I first introduced Pippin to Meadow, Pip hissed at her and lunged at her and bit and pulled at her skin/fur so I had to separate them pretty quickly (I've never had a serious rat fight, but from what I've read, rat fights usually end up bloody pretty fast)

also, I've got some pics of Lily being home (and Lily with Meadow, it was going to be the three of them, but Pip kept running off, so the only shot with the three of them is me holding Pippin with Lil' and Meadow in the background)
