Ha ha, yes, being warm is not the same as being hot!
Always best to find the happy medium, no matter how elusive...
Sounds like you guys are in an area with some temperature extremes! Hope you both get a few lovely spring days still, and that the weather turns more kind...

I usually just wear a sweater kind of thing. lol. Though sometimes it's super cold and I need an actual jacket.

I'm one of those people always bundled up.
It's 28 C or 84 F here right now with 85% humidity, and I have on a wool scarf, a wool hood, an underlayer with a silk cardigan.... and my hands are still cold enough that the joints ache. Partly though that's because I'm fighting off an illness, which always makes me even MORE cold than normal.
Being always cold is not really a good thing, not to mention how much more laundry you have with all the long john undergarments and three pairs of socks and winters are MISERABLE. I haven't been able to enjoy a beach in ages because even in the height of the heat I can get too chilled to be able to do anything.
On the other hand, hot tubs are WONDERFUL, I want to move into one. >.<
