i've finally snapped lol. after sacrificing sleep to make my routine bedtime 1 o' clock instead of 11, i'm still not able to finish college work.
(which makes me feel bad not only because i actually like my work but because i was raised to be conscientious about homework and overachieving about grades ergo i'm trying not to feel stressed/scared/guilty)

anyway.

i'm gonna go back to doing some of the things i love. which includes kofk and roleplay. (i hope this determination lasts longer than my new year resolutions lol. pray for me.)

so like i wasn't sure if you were talking about the same thing, but my Dad uses ChromeCast. he also uses a hdmi cable

dude, i know you're 'just' an 'online friend' which means you're supposed to be somehow lesser than a real friend but i call bs on that because you're as real a comfort as any 'real' friend. :qh: you're a sweetpea! how have you been?

yeah, we seem to use chromecast a lot, and it seems to work well, just i don't know if it works with every site. also i'm not sure if it's free.

Hehe thank you. You are as a real friend as anyone could hope for as well. I agree with you on your statement. :qh:

I've been a bit stressed. Tried to quit smoking but isn't going too well lol.

I know Chromecast is a bit more expensive but never really looked into it. Just so used to people I know using Roku never really looked into anything else.

:mcsquee: :qh:

aw, that's tough *hugs* is there a support group, of other people also trying to quit that could make things easier for you?
even if it isn't going well right now, don't stop trying! :mccute: slow and steady will probably make the process easier for you than a drastic way of doing it.

so roku doesn't work well for you then, or you haven't tried it?
so i can't compare roku and chromecast cause i don't know roku but maybe you can look into it?

My fiance is trying to quit as well. We figured if we have a few a day we might have a easier chance to quit. His mom even said that a few a day now is alot better and we will get to the point we will end up not having any anymore after sometime. My mom said it takes 4 tries to quit so just try again.

I haven't tried ChromeCast. I might look into it eventually since our Roku drives the fiance crazy alot. But after we get new monitors, a new phone and a entire new PC setup for me.

i agree that it is probably easier to wean yourself off gradually instead of all at once. that's good that you can support each other in the process. :mccute:

that's a lot of electronic replacement away then :mctongue:

Ya I'm glad he's here with me. I started to smoke 4 times so far. But quitting the other times was alot easier. First was because of my health and it didn't bother me at all. The other 2 I ran out of cigarettes and it didn't faze me. But this is the longest I smoked this time, 1yr. And with my OCD I've always known that I have an addicting personality so I know it's gonna be harder for me. He's been smoking for several years now but with my nic fits it will be harder for him. But at least he's understanding. He said with me going on meds for my mental disabilities it might help me quit alot easier. So at least our appointment for that is next month so not too long to wait.

Yup, tons of electronics. He wants to give me a brand new PC instead of his brothers hand me down and mine will be better than his lol. So I'm looking forward to us putting it together.

Thank you :qh:

Yup. I guess we can get a few parts in May and then maybe the rest in June. Next month it's 3 monitors and his new mouse and maybe a phone for me. He figured everything out and it's rather nice we have plans on how to do things like this. Gives me something to look forward to.~
