I've got a friend who just graduated from dental school, and he LOVED it! :qh: I wish you the best of luck with that, the rest of uni, and your job working on imaging probes for MRI. :mclove: What an amazing life you have!!! I'm sure you're do stunningly!

My life has been...wild since we last talked. :mcheh:
Let's see...I finished high school with a major in Environmental Science, managed to emerge victorious from some pretty gnarly life-threatening illnesses that have left me permanently mentally scarred but stronger and more motivated than ever!, started uni, got a job at a loose leaf tea shop, met the love of my life, studied abroad in Ecuador in the Amazon and in the Galapagos Islands, got engaged, started working on active research with a very good friend/professor/advisor of mine, presented our findings in my first national symposium, moved in with my fiance, had my appendix burst at 3am on Christmas Eve which resulted in some major back injuries that had me on bed rest for a month and that I am still dealing with, graduated uni with a Bachelors of Science in Biology, a week later I sold everything I owned and moved halfway across the world with just my fiance, a backpack, and a dream, and have been traveling ever since! :mclaugh: May 27th marked the one year anniversary of our travels. So far we've been to Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Spain, Costa Rica, Sicily, and Romania, and in two days we leave for Serbia. :mccute: It's been a whirlwind experience, which lots of ups and downs and a lot of rolling with the punches, but what an adventure it has been! :qh:
So yeah, that's me. :mcsquee: Writing the highlights of the past few years out, it's no wonder I'm so tired all of the time! :mcsleepy: A lot has happened.

I'm not sure yet. First I want to get my Masters, then my PhD. Then...who knows! :mclaugh:
Lately I've been thinking that I really want to get back into work with endangered species, since that's one of my greatest passions and it's where I have the most experience. Possibly though field work, possibly through research and publications, possibly through policy-making, possibly by working in either a rehabilitation and re-release center or through a re-population project. :mcheh: I think I'm leaning towards the latter the most, but who knows where the winds of life will take me!<3
I try not to take the future too seriously. My life doesn't look anything like I imagined it would at this age. But even though nothing went according to plan, I've ended up in such a cool place! I'm excited to see where I end up next, and what the future has in store for me! :mchappy: /Sappy

It was the Sigma Xi Symposium held in 2015. :mccute: It was an amazing experience, and not nearly as nerve-wracking as I expected it to be! To be honest, it was really chill - just a bunch of scientists gathered to share their recent findings and learn from others. :mclaugh: /Big Science Nerd

I actually minored in Chemistry for my Bachelors, and my fiance graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry. Though, I'm not very good at it. :mcgloom: My fiance and I actually met in General Chemistry I lab my freshman year of uni. :mclove: /Swoon Even after four years together, that boy still gives me butterflies...

That is sooo cute omg. (you and ur bf , also props to him chemistry is the best!)

i have a major in biochem and a minor in chemistry :^) . Not redundant, I promise.

I do research for endogenous aldehyde detection through mri and fluorescent imaging . :) Hoping to get published in 2018 we'll see :') my pi has been kinda pushing me to get shit done so we can hand the paper in. our supplemental info is currently at 100 pages and not even halfway :')

Field work! thats good.
