You guys, I can't swim either! I used to swim on my back in junior high school, but I was already pretty scared of water then and after I graduated I never once visited a pool... so whenever bf wants to go to a pool, he says he'll teach me how to swim... but he loses his patience too quickly I'm just too scared of getting the water in my nose and mouth (ears I think I can manage, though it's unpleasant)

I used to have a slight fear of needles, but nowadays I just make myself look away and it's fine. Luckily my skin is fair and thin and the nurse can always see all of my veins clearly

Sea water is much better than the chlorinated pool water so I wouldn't want that in my nose or mouth either ;o
Though I used to take swimming classes for about 3 years since I was 5 years old so that may have eased me into it and make me feel more confident about swimming in general.

My skin is just thin ovo so my veins show up readily. I haven't had much bruising luckily. Gek, that sounds so unpleasant jacob. The worst I've had is a red scar from improper cannula removal. It's not bad, now I have a red line on my hand.


Ah, my boyfriend is a .. what do you call them? water pig? water wings? idk .u. a hippo. He's a hippo that hasn't offered me swimming lessons. I prefer he just carry me on his back out to sea >_>; I don't wanna work for it.
