Hahaha, that sounds that quite a deviation from planned. Is this the same bf from back when you lived in Europe?

Oh, have you tried purchasing MT sets from Alice for 13k a month? That's where I purchase my MTs.

I think my wardrobe dumps into the MP are a manifestation of my tendencies to clean, organise and tidy everything irl.

AHHHHHHHHH, 5 pages D: I can barely find anything in 3. Well I only have 3 pages of body parts and garments.

Aha nope, this one was a cheater. Also he stopped answering my messages 10 days after I left for Japan.
Basically, leaving was the best decision in my life XD

I'm purchasing them every month now that I have found her. Unfortunately, I discovered her just a month after the Inari set which means I have missed quite a lot.

I think it's a good thing. I'm pretty sure I have bought things from you.

I know more or less what I own and I use the sort by color option. Usually anyway I build an avatar around a single item and then see what could go with it by colors.

Oh gross, that must have been disappointing.

I'm not too sure when she started offering this service but I've been purchasing my sets from her since the start so I'm very lucky to not have missed out on much.

You definitely have! I usually take notice of who purchases from me. I can tell you that Opalynx is probably a bigger hoarder than you xD I think she's the majority of my transactions.

I approach my avatar building in a similar manner but it never really works out that way. I try to use one item, then I get distracted by other items and colour schemes along the way. I don't search by colour which is probably what makes it difficult if I have a bigger wardrobe.

Are you currently staying in Tokyo?

I kinda knew he wasn't the best choice for me. Call it feminine instinct if you want but I knew from the start something was up. It's also why I decided to go to Japan anyway.

To be honest, I usually click buy on every cheap item, especially WK items, I find in the hope of one finding the motivation to set up a trading thread.
It hasn't been very successful so far XD

Most of the time my avatar building revolves around the newest MT or my newest purchase or the current event.
It helps not being distracted.

Yep, I'm staying in Tokyo, I have been for the past 2 years and a half and I'm starting to get tired of city life.
At the same time it's a way less stressful city than I thought it would be so I guess it could be worse.

I think we often know deep down but we try to make it work. That was me and my first boyfriend. I can't see myself leaving my current one. He's a darling.

Oh, that makes a lot of sense hahaha I always wondering if you end up with doubles because I'm sure you've purchased the same thing twice from me but on separate occasions.

Ah, see I try to do avatars around the latest purchases but I often buy A LOT and change my avatar not as frequently. So for every new item I realise that I have 30 other items that are also 'new' and I've forgotten to wear them.

Oh wow, has it been that long already? I remember when we first started talking you were still considering moving. Do you speak fluent Japanese? I was there in the winter and got tonsillitis. Is it quite crowded isn't it? I thought Sydney was bad but I ended up in Harajuku on a Sunday. *ded

Sometimes, love makes us idiot doesn't it XD
Oh well, at least I've learnt something from it and now I'm perfectly happy :qh:

Most of the times WK items doubles are not on purpose though XD I forget which color I own and which I doesn't and don't always check.

I'm a lot more moderate in my purchases so I can do it. Except that I recently went on a splurge and bought all the inari set, all I could use was the hair and I struggled XD

It's indeed been that long, even I don't realize it.
I can indeed speak decent Japanese and have apparently a N2 level, which isn't something I can believe either, either way I got pretty good.
Sundays are awful. But some places are actually quite relaxing, even in Tokyo, and I love the winter here, it's always sunny.

I'm always in the habit of double checking my wardrobe because I absolutely abhor having doubles. It's one thing that really bugs me, the x 2 >_>

Ah, I did that with the majolica sets. Bought one of each and never ended up using any of them :c I like the haori from the inari set actually, more than the hair because I can't use my other ears with it. I love animal parts. (that sounds really strange)

How did you start learning Japanese? In class? I had a lot of trouble communicating in Japan. I learnt basic phrases but I stuttered a lot and I can't get the intonations right. It feels like a really high pitch language and my accent sometimes gets in the way of my pronunciation.

We stayed in Shinjuku and would occasionally walk through kabukicho and one day we got lost and ended up in this shifty area with like the banners in front of entrance. It was so shifty and we didn't know which direction to bail.

Ah, indeed, always sunny was good. The buildings are super reflective and it only rained once in our 3 week stay. I can't bear the cold though even though it was 9C at the lowest. I'm a SE Asian/Australian baby so I'm so used to sun. Even in Australia I was wrapped in 5 layers on a 20C day and everyone was in a tshirt or a tank top.

I don't mind doubles so much, I've always planned on trading them one day, day that never seems to come XD
At least I know what I could use my vacations for ^^

I bought two of the original Majolica sets, the red and the green, I love the hair but can never seem to use them properly.
Actually the thing I love the most from the Inari set is the eyes, then the mark from the original one, I struggled with the hair a lot.

I started learnign Japanese naturally, by being exposed to the language. The more you listen the more your ear get used to the sounds and gets good at reproducing them. It's like every language though, the more you speak it the more natural it gets. The thing I struggle the most with is the intonations actually.
And if that can help you nearly every native English speaker I know has an strong accent when speaking Japanese, almost like me when I speak English.

Kabukicho is like a labyrinth, I never get there alone and even less at night. It's not that dangerous but it's pretty stressful to get lost in a place like this.

Actually, it rains only in spring and autumn and occasionnaly when typhoons are in the vincinity. Other than that Tokyo is always sunny.

It'll be virtual spring cleaning haha

Oh those are so old. I bought the scarlet, jade green, aqua, magenta lot ;-; I actually loved the original colours but I guess I grew out of them. Oh the mark is really cute, if it was maroon I could make more use of it but it's a bit bright. I think the mark in pastel colours would've been cute especially with the aqua set. I also have trouble with the eyes. It's like there's too much eyeliner? I'm not sure.

Exposed as in living in the country or watching shows? I can understand very basic conversation phrases like 'what's your name', 'are you feeling ok?' stuff like that and I can pick out words and the probable intention but it's still very difficult. Real Japanese people don't really talk like they do on dramas, tv shows and anime x_x

Ah, we definitely ended up there at night and was thoroughly confused. We saw a doughnut shop with a long line so we decided to check it but as we walked around the block and further down less people were around and it got really ... empty. I kind of want to experience a host club at least once but I'd just feel really uncomfortable.

If the winters were a touch warmer I would definitely survive but I got really sick :( I feel like Japan is a country where I won't live comfortably due to the weather. Humidity in Summer, too cold in Winter. It's a shame, I would like to try climbing Mt Fuji in summer. Have you attempted that? but our summer vacation ends up being winter for everyone else. I guess once I start working I will have more choices in my vacay time.

I could use spring cleaning in real life too to be honest XD But it's so hot ^^

I wasn't interested in scarlet or jade green or aqua when it came out and now I regret not buying because now I love them.
I don't find it that bright but maybe that's just me. I really like the way the eyes look sideways and not straight ahead, it's pretty fun to use in an avatar.

Watching shows, of course people in real life don't talk the same but it still makes your ear get used to it. And you learn both vocabulary and grammar without even knowing about it because you hear more clearly and they don't make as much mistakes as real people when speaking.
Of course living in the country is the best way because you don't have any other choice but learn and you get exposed to kanji as well.

Yeah, it's exactly that, it's full of people and suddenly it's so empty it get scary.
I've never been to a host club, I kinda want to as well.

I think you just got sick because you're not used to it that and there's always such a temperature difference between inside and outside that every gets sicks.
I'm pretty sure you wouldn't survive Europe in Winter XD Tokyo is quite hot in winter, really.
Never climbed Mt Fuji, I want to but I seem to have problems with my knee so I'm pretty sure I'd end up hurt really bad if I went.
