Fair. Sounds like it's a lot of work, being a mom and caring for your mother. No wonder you have so little free time! X'D

I just realized that "take out" means food, dating, and murder. And if you were a female praying mantis you'd have all three.

I can imagine! Poor Death! ; 3;

Have you had any time to draw lately?
Any news on the homeschooling program?

Nothing new on art yet. I have a sketch I'm fixing up for Kat. And hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to work on it on the computer and color it.
I have to wait till tomorrow to call the doctors to get her a physical and eye exam. I also have to wait till I have funds to get my daughter's birth certificate. And we have to get a camera for the computer and a headset with a microphone so she'll be able to talk to her teacher online. And I have no idea if I'll have the money in time. DX Ugh!

Something to look out for when I'm in Japan, then!
I have a shit immune system. Traveling has helped, since I have been exposed to a shit ton of different strains, but it was awful for the first six months - I was sick ALL THE TIME! ; A;
I also get overheated really easily. = .=

Are you originally from Japan, Kuuki? If not, how long have you been there? Why are you there? Where are you located? Do you like it? /Gushes
I've wanted to go to Japan for my entire life. As soon I can afford it, I want to spend multiple months to a year there. <3

; A; Kyan, come back to us~
Nope, I'm French XD
I've been there for 2years and a few months now, always in Tokyo. I don't hate it but I don't love it either, city life isn't for me but Tokyo isn't such a bad place to live in, while a city it still sometimes has the atmosphere of a village so I can deal with it. It's good because if you're bored you can find something to distract you anywhere and all the time.

Originally I came on a working holiday visa because I needed a break for everything back in France (to be short bad relations with my family, bad relations with my ex and bad relations with my ex boss) and then I became able to speak Japanese. Realazing it would be a waste not to learn how to write too I've decided to learn the language, which is what I'm doing now.
And, in the process, I met a wonderful guy and since we're getting married I'm guess I'll be there for a long time.

Ooh, art for Kat? That sounds lovely, Death! I can't wait to see it! Are you thinking of uploading it to Kofk again?
That doesn't sound good about the camera and microphone, though! You cannot use the built-in webcam and microphone from your laptop? Or do you have a desktop? x.x I know Amazon has them for pretty cheap, if you don't need high quality. If you'd like, I have some friends in the tech biz, I ask around for what the cheapest good options are. ^^

Kuuki, how romantic~ :qh: That sounds like a dream~! Congrats on your upcoming wedding! Sounds like a story right out of a romance novel!
How are you faring on the language learning? As soon as I'm done with spanish, I'm thinking of learning Japanese. It's been on my list for a long time, and C is already working on learning the hiragana and katakana on our phone. (He's taken a class in it before so knows a little - the only bits and pieces I know are what I've scraped from anime, manga, and memorizing a Japanese/English dictionary in high school - let me tell you, the latter is very much not helpful when the words change with context and sentence structure! ; A; I wish I had known that going in... But oh well!). Any tips/resources for a newbie? :D

How is everyone doing today?
We have some major flash flood warnings, so we're inside today. Momma M is teleworking, while C and I work from our laptops, as per normal. I'm busy doing applications, C's working on finishing his nanodegree and starting on his second. Neither C nor Momma M slept last night, and from what I can recall through my drowsiness, C was pretty upset last night about something. Though, I can't ask him what - between no sleep and being super hangry, he is in a foul mood right now. = .= I made him a pb&j to tide him over while the chicken defrosts for lunch, but I doubt anything will help his mood at this point. I'm just considering today a lost cause for him. But that doesn't mean I can't have a good day! The rain sounds lovely against the window, I have some soft jazz hop playing in the background, and I'm off to crank out some applications at the speed of light! :mccool: /Positivity

13 - puh, had to go back quite a few pages to find out :D

I should be working on exam preparations... Instead, I finished a dream avi and updated my quest and buying threads :D Whoops... I should get to work now, I guess ;)
But now I'm in a really good mood, since this avi was a real dream of mine and when I made I thought I could never get all the items for it!

Yep. I hope it is. Unfortunately I never know when I have time. I have the sketch done, I just need the chance to color it in even if it is on the computer.
I'll post here on kofk when I am done. :)
I have a desktop. No built in anything. XD My dad probably will just buy at Walmart. But thanks.

@Fire: Aha a fairy tail indeed, especially considering he actually started talking to me on the streets at night. Either way, it feels like fate.
Im faring pretty well on the language learning point, I'm already between a N2 and N1 level (the highest) (except when it comes to kanji but that's mostly because I'm lazy)
As for advices, actually, it depends on your objective, I'd say getting used to the language is key, so basically, watching anime is good, it's going to help you build your hearing and a sense of what's correct or not in term of sentences.
If you want to learn how to write properly you have no choice but practicing until your hand falls off, if you just want to read, apps are a good choice.
The best would be a mix of everything, ideally taking classes would help too but I know it's not always that easy.

As for me, today, I'm getting ready to go see a friend and have fun in her family's house, which is conveniently located next to a beach and have a fireworks festival tonight. I'm looking forward to it.

Also, I'M ON VACATION!!!
