Ah, that makes sense. They do look like really nice books. Are there nice graphics inside? After game guide? I can't say I do much with the game after collecting all the legendaries I can and defeating the elite 4 ovo;

When you get older you stop seeing your friends as often. I've got thesis and she has work now that's she's done with uni so we're both pretty busy. Caught up on a lot of things. I can't believe I'm 24 ;-; people are getting married, working full time *rolls on the floor. I don't wanna be an adult.

Yup. It's uh how I lost my main group of friends bar like 3 or 2 people when they went to uni. I don't think I'll go to the 10 year reunion next year. I'm not ready :(

Posters? ovo I never actually put up posters, they always fall down which is irritating. I enjoy plain walls but maybe when I have a place of my own I'll have some cool framed stuff.

I only thoroughly explored fire red ages ago haha and I gave up on emerald. I played it up till elite 4 when I was in the hospital. I also finished Fire Emblem 7 in the hospital xD I had a lot of time.

You just have to make time for them. I often see my best friend 1-2 times a year but this year a little more. I've seen her maybe 5 times this year. It doesn't change our friendship. We don't even have to message each other heaps (I didn't hear from her for 1.5 months this time) but we understand each others schedules.

Why aren't you ready? I wouldn't go to my 10 year simply because I didn't care for the people from high school. I almost immediately deleted everyone except my group of 10-15 friends. I suppose if my year advisor was attending we'd all go more to see them than each other.

I do know that most guidebooks have some decent art in them, and the Pokémon ones are amazing, at least all the ones that I've seen.

I also have a problem with posters falling down, so I stopped doing it. Lately I've been starting putting up postcards on the walls. It's cheap art and it gives a nice touch.
To be honest I wish I could decorate the place all over again, the BF's tastes are pretty plain.

About being an adult though, you don't have to do it the same was as everyone else. Like, I'm 28, I still don't have a full time job (I had but I quit) and I'm back but I'm getting married.
Life is a lot easier if you do things your way without worrying too mcuh about how other are doing it.

My posters haven't fallen down and they're blu-tacked to a brick wall. Though they are technically postcards but drawn by a lovely Australian artist.

As for making time, it was they who couldn't make time and because of past experience of me saying no (due to parents saying no) they just sort of drifted away.

I'm not because I don't feel it mentally, emotionally. Even though my fave art teacher is going. I just don't think I could handle it even if maybe two friends are going.

Thank you Serra and Mika. I had my birthday date with my boyfriend today :3 we were looking at presents but I didn't find anything I liked. It was still fun though.

I don't mind plain, it's easier to clean. One thing that bothers me about having decor is that dusting is a hassle. You have to move everything out of the way. I guess I feel a lot of pressure at the moment because my dad is getting old, my mum is sick and can't work because of her autoimmune disease, they're still paying off their loan on one salary, my brother is a deadbeat and I want to move out with my bf soon and think about getting engaged if it works out.

I use blu-tack to brick wall as well but I always hear ghostly noises in the night (i.e. my posters falling down). I suppose the ones I used to have were large A3s.

We shared confit pork belly and matcha pancakes. The pancakes didn't taste like matcha which was disappointing but the coffee maple syrup was tasty. The pork belly was really nice as well with puree beetroot, avo and pickles. It was at Le Monde cafe in Surry Hills.

My bf has figures and his geological collection which gets super dusty >_< I have some small sized figures on the bookshelf and every time I want to clean I have to pick them up to wipe under them ;~;
