Glad it was all sorted out for you
Yea, but apparently it's a common practice? XD I guess the CEOs and managers and such are just too lazy to care or something
And funny thing. Yesterday I was sure it's my last day, but today my boss called, said the boss of all bosses called him and they want to keep me as the branch employee (the branch isn't closing apparently, thanks or scaring everyone, you idiots

), so they'd delete my contract termination, but they want me to be 3 weeks in Athens and 1 week in Warsaw. They'd provide flight tickets, apartment in Athens.
SO: my boss suggested I could try negotiating 2 weeks here, 2 weeks there. Plus I had some questions like, how far is the apartment form the office, am I going to have a roommate and if I could get per diem if I'm staying there for 2 weeks. Money is not an option, my job duties would not change, he has to ask about the public transport connections. I called him with the questions like an hour or 2 after he caled me with the news. He hasn't called me back yet ;___; And I wonder if it's because he can't reach his boss (most likely) or if his boss is like "fuck her" (also likely, but much less I think???).
Anyways, I'm torn about the situation, because let's say they agree on the 2:2 weeks. I get lost very easily, or am afraid to get lost. I hate new things or changes in general. I hate dooing new things alone for the first time. I will have to be in a completely new environment and frankly, I dont fancy the idea. BUT, it's good money for still doing nothing, seeing another part of the world (if I'm not too scared to leave the apartment other than for work), and possibly finally working on that book of mine (or five dozen of them, lol). But still I somehow hope they will decline the offer of 2:2 weeks. I told my boss even if they agree, I will still have to think on it and decide, but first I gotta know what they say. So far no answers, so it's kinda, blargh, why u no answer me? It's unnerving x.x
