Sounds like you could do a lot of thieving without any issue. Have you considered building a better life by stealing lab specimens?

I will get the size to you this afternoon. It's a race against time now.

It was shockingly similar to an Aesthetic Perfection music video, but with more Florida license plates.
Do you have a remix of that song? I thought I remembered hearing a faster version.
After the initial yowl, she renews the yowl every few hours, just to keep her yowl in shape. It's worse when I'm the only one in the car, because I'm not paying attention to her.

One of my office-mates microwaved broccoli. My life is over.

Lab specimens do nothing for my life. I'd be better off taking post-it notes.

Indeed. But I won't be able to order it until after lab if you don't get it before 3:45.

Was there one guy wearing different patterns of face paint following you through Illinois?
I have at least one, yeah. I like that song.
Poor kitty. What is her behavior like now that she's back in Ohio? Returned to standard patterns?

This is proof that I am cosmically linked to your office-mate. I microwaved broccoli and cauliflower for lunch. I am the problem. I can't even smell the broccoli anymore.

Small. My current hoodie is small. I have no idea if it's a women's small or not, but let's go with a women's small. Please and thank you.

There was a minivan with a canoe on the top that appeared several times through my journey in near-identical forms. That's a lot like a guy wearing face paint. That video must have been goofy to film, with the guy just emoting in front of neon for four minutes, changing makeup, and repeating.
Her behavior has changed! It's almost identical to original Ohio behavior, but now she cuddles my feet while I sleep, which she has never done in either Ohio or Minnesota.

Please stop. Everyone around you is suffering. Destroy the broccoli in the comfort of your own home, if you must, but don't inflict it on others.

Acquired.

Was it the same minivan with canoe or not?
Upside, he might not have needed a live camera operator. The camera didn't seem to move. So he could be awkward by himself in a dimly lit studio.
Strange. Are you keeping a log? Also, adorable.

Too late! And I'm going to do it again tomorrow! It's not like there aren't any people to suffer at the house, too.

For most of the trip, I was convinced it was the same minivan. It looked like the same shade of brown. But then I started wondering if it hadn't been an Illinois license plate the first time, and wasn't it weird that it kept appearing even when I lost time at rest stops? So I don't know. It may or may not have been the same.

There's a pretty good chance he didn't do his own makeup. So that would be at least one person present to watch him be awkward in a dimly lit studio.

I don't need a log to keep track of what my cat is doing. Do you need a log to know when Moosey-Moose is doing nonstandard things?

Is this still the leftover stuffing? Or have you done something else unspeakable?

For some reason I've still been working on my NaNo. Not as devotedly, but I am several thousand words up. You done yet?

It was the same van. They were different plates. Do you see it in your parking lot now? The plates have changed again.

Maybe. I wouldn't put it past him. But I also like the idea of someone watching in the dimly lit studio.

I guess it's not necessary when your cat is already a log by herself. A chunko-fat log. Is she still fat? Stop being mean to your cat.
Moosey-Moose never does nonstandard things. He is very predictable.

I don't know. I left it at home and took all of the broccoli stems with me instead. Delicious.

I am not finished yet, because it is not yet December. I'm torn on whether or not to keep going after, though. It's definitely not the sort of thing that I want to see the light of day, but it also feels like it could be pretty decent if I edited it. But it also needs to be a lot longer. And there were some hand-wavy bits that I don't really want to research enough to fix. And some of the voices still aren't nearly right. I think I need to add a separate viewpoint character to tie some of the plotty bits together better. I think I accidentally introduced a theme, and I'm not sure I approve of it. I can't do political intrigue. Etc.

Okay, but I think it's probably invisible now. When I was in my highly caffeinated state it felt like the van was more an external manifestation of my mania than a physical object. Now that I am once more in control of my brain the van has no place in my life.

She's not that fat! She was only a bit chubby! And I am slimming her down! Don't judge me!
But we don't always know who does the hunting. Maybe it's Moose? Maybe it's not? You must investigate.

Would you feel a deep sense of satisfaction if you finished it? That is a worthwhile reason even if you never want to show it to anyone. Alternatively, you could just show it to me, because I would love it and would tell you that it's good. How much longer would you have to make it to feel like it's done?

Great, you have an invisible minivan lurking in your lot. Make sure not to hit it. They don't like it when you hit their minivan.

Chunko Fat Waddle Girl. I will continue to judge you from afar until you return so I can judge you up close again.
Moosey seems to eat them. I always see him eating his mice, anyway. It's a difficult thing to track.

I would, but I would also feel a deep sense of satisfaction from eating an entire package of Oreos. Not sure that means much.
You in particular are someone who should not see it. It hits too many dumb sub-genre cliches. Even if it were edited it would be terrible in that way. I think it's at about 50-75% right now. Maybe.
Why are you still working on yours? I thought you didn't like it much anymore.

I will run through the lot waving my arms before getting in my car. That will ensure that I find any lurking invisible vans, and will also establish me as the flailing spirit of the apartment complex. Perhaps I will also wear a stylish mask and cloak while I do this.

You could attach a GoPro to him. I hear that's fun and informative.

Are the two senses of satisfaction really equally deep? I would think it would be more life-affirming to finish the story.
I want to read it! I love sub-genre cliches, and there's a good chance I haven't even seen these ones before, since I don't frequent the Marvel fandom or the Pern setting.
Every time I think about the structure of my story I feel deeply disappointed in myself, but there's a lot about it other than the structure that I love. And I'm still enjoying writing it, for some reason. It's weird to think that it will never be good but that I can, theoretically, turn it into a finished product anyway.

On Iron Chef someone just skinned a hotdog. I had to watch that. It cannot be unseen. Not, like, a fancy hotdog, either. It was basically a cinema hotdog.

Please do. Be like the spirit of the stadium, but less forgettable.

The little cameras were not GoPros. That would be copyright infringement. Maybe CatCams.

I don't know. Don't you feel deeply satisfied after snarfing a package of Oreos?
But even you know the Pern cliches are trashy, and you've only read one book. It only goes downhill from there. Especially the fanfiction. All I'm missing are purple dragons at this point.
A finished published product???

Why.
