1 in 10 women have endo. That's a lot of women. Most of my female fb friends, which I have 232 fb friends, probably bit over half have endo. Or some have PCOS or other things.
Endometriosis is more common than people think and it's genetic I think. So if even a distant relative has it, you might. I know two of my aunts have had period issues, one barely gets them I think she has pcos. The other I think might have endo.
Also endo has no cure, and you get it surgically removed and even so like a few years later you need that done again and I've heard even a hysterectomy won't stop it.
A lot of women just get told it's normal, to find out 10, 20 years down the track it wasn't. Truth is there's not much known about women's uterus and vaginal health.
I may or may not have it. I'm too scared to go find out, it requires a ultrasound but really to fully properly diagnose it, it requires laparoscopy to see and not many doctors will get you in for that.

I've never heard of that.
I have one friend who says she always has such a pain that she cannot move.
I remember that I had the worst cramps when I was 15 and it was the day of a prom. This was intense. I couldn't move. My dad had to drive me to the doctor - the doc is only 5 minutes away from our home (by foot!). So yea, I can still remember the pain. I got the pill afterwards and my pain was almost gone. I sometimes had a little back pain, but this was endurable.
Aw mem, I am sure the rats are cute, I want to see them! :D
You do not want to know what I've consumed yesterday, I am again bathing in self-hate... I ate so much and I drunk alcohol, but not too much. I had a few shots, a beer, 2 cups of wodka lemon and one cup "Feuerzangenbowle". I had much water in between. And all the food ._.
The birthday party was fun! I got to know one guy a bit better, this was great! He wanted to leave at midnight, but he stayed until the end and I think it was because of me mostly. My friends were already glancing at us suspiciously, as if they were waiting that we touch xD

I'd say it's only in the last few years that it's become more recognisable by doctors, etc.
I know people who bleed a lot, like a lot more than they should and bad unbearable cramps like the one you had, but all the time and periods that will last about 7 days average. And some will get migraines with it and throwing up too.
I'm thankful mine don't get that bad though I just ply myself with pain killers. And I don't like to take pain killers that often.

I do suspect I have endo because I occasionally get bad cramps outside of my period. And because the cramps are so bad during. But like you say, what are they going to do? With my fibro complicating the issue as well, it doesn't seem worthwhile to get a diagnosis. I already have prescribed painkillers so I'll just continue taking those.
I get pain so bad I can't walk and fall down to the floor, and it feels like someone stuck their fist in my gut and grabbed hold of everything and squeezed it hard. A lot of blood clots, too, which all seems indicative to me.
Since I only have a period every six months or so it seems bearable XD also if I was to get a diagnosis they would probably want me to stop doing that and have regular periods again so they could verify it wasn't a complication of this method (which it isn't because the pain is WHY I started that method, but anyway, you know doctors).

Tbh at the best it is best to still get diagnosed. Endo can be really dangerous if it reaches your lungs or other vital organs. I've heard it can be the cause for a lot of IBS issues.
Actually from what I read, not having it regularly can help slow the spread. Though it does depend on the gyno you see..or doctor, some are a bit old fashioned..

I don't really feel worried about things like that. If it happens, it happens. Nothing to say it wouldn't be spotted before then anyway when we start trying for a baby. I'd rather take the chance, since it is so very slim, than go through all the examinations and tests.
I'm the same way with cervical cancer. I read all the statistics and considered my personal family history and decided to opt out of smear tests. They're so poor as diagnosis tools that there's no guarantee I would even have one before I died of cervical cancer anyway lol. Can't worry too much about things like that.

True that.

If they changed it to be more accurate here I would probably consider taking it. It just seems like an unnecessary source of stress as it is.
If anything I'm probably more likely to get breast cancer. As long as I keep checking for that, I reckon it'll be fine.

Aaah, you guys talked so much! *A*
I'm sick ;/ My morning achy throat didn't pass throught the whole day and it got worse, plus my runny nose stuck around as well, which isn't normal for me. So it's great. Good thing the rats are immune to that. Or so I've read, and so I hope. They are so shy and scared tho, and so tiny! But once they get bored, they are everywhere, it's hard to... ugh, to take a photo... I had to occupy them with my bath robe to be able to finish this post ^^;
I don't think I have endo or anything, no one has ever had that in my family, as far as I am aware.
