Man I'm the same way about little rude moments...I think I've been getting better at hiding how I feel in public, but man when I get some time to myself I keep thinking about the interaction in question and sometimes it's hard to shake it off. x.x

Haha the only reason why I've been able to finish books is because this time I've checked out pretty short books from the library, and also because I have lots of time during my commute to work. The train ride is always nice and smooth so it's easy to read. I wonder if my commute is really worth it though (1.5 hours each way...and the actual shift is only 1.5 hours...), but at least for now I get to have some reading time!

I've never had the ear burning sensation before but hey that's so interesting!

*sighs* I've been so tired lately and I don't know why. Well I think I have an idea of why. Most likely it is my Crohn's making me feel fatigued. I've also been more socially awkward and socially anxious than usual...

I've managed to get half way through another book only because I was at a band concert for my brother.

@Sanssouci: Same here. Trying to be nice is the first thing I try do, but people still end up being mean anyways. I can react two different ways though. I can either get riled up and start screaming or I can get eerily quiet and start sobbing when I feel it's safe too. I hope this person leaves you alone now. You said it happened online, right? How well is the moderation on that place? You could possibly report them next time they act up and try to bother you, and wait to see what the mods do. Is there a block feature? That can also help.

That's actually interesting. My cheeks are what flush when I'm upset or nervous. I get very pink faced when upset.

And I'm sure you'll finish one soon!

@Vivacity: Most of the books I own and haven't read are long. I've read all my short books. I can't read in moving vehicles because it causes motion sickness for me. That's actually the only time I get motion sickness is if I read in a moving vehicle. But having that much time to just sit and relax on the way to work sounds nice, though. :o

Crohn's sounds like a real beast!

It was a reddit chatroom. Everyone is really nice in the subreddit. But the chatroom was totally different! A mod was on, but it seemed like he didn't want to get involved and was just trying to ignore it and change the subject. I left the chat. I'll just stick to the subreddit and avoid those people!

Even if I'm not going to cry, my eyes get watery when I'm upset or nervous.

My face and ears get hot when I'm angry or when someone compliments me xD

My mom's ears get red when she's angry. My dad used to piss her off intentionally and say "Look at her ears! >XD"

Online, I might say something if someone is being rude, but offline I usually bite my tongue. Until they make me really angry. I actually shock people when I do get to my breaking point. They always expect to just stay quiet xD

I'm the same way. I can be snippy online, but I back down really fast in person!

I think it's bad to be that way.
You shouldn't be up in everyone's faces, but if you do nothing, people hurt you worse.
I wish I had defended myself.
Maybe I wouldn't be such a wuss now.

I tend to bottle things up and the smallest thing can send me into a verbal and physical rage.
I wouldn't ever hurt anyone, but I could put my fist through a few walls xD

I was told I'm extremely aggressive and should consider boxing.
But I'd sell for punching bag xD

Animals help me a lot. If I'm angry or sad, I can hold my cat and play with my dogs and feel better.
I actually had a dream someone was trying to steal my cat.
I was so angry in the dream and I kicked them, but I actually kicked my sister in the face in real life xD

I've never punched anyone, slapped anyone, punched a wall, etc. I wouldn't even know how to throw a punch! But when I watch movies where there is a really obvious and really bad bad guy, then I'm always like, "Kill him! What are you waiting for!? Just kill him!!" lol

I punched my bed one time. I didn't know the remote was under the blanket, so I punched it.
The remote was fine, but my knuckles turned purple and got swollen xD

I'm a really empathetic person, so I don't like to say killing people would be good. Unless they're truly horrible. I feel empathy for people I shouldn't.
But I don't care in fiction. This one guy said he shot someone for kicking a dog and he felt horrible. I said "Good. He was an asshole >BU"

Exactly. Like, in real life there are too many uncertainties and grey areas. But in movies and tv shows, the bad guys are often 100% really really bad. So I love a good "killing bad guys" story!

True true about how it's much easier to hate on fictional villains hehe. In real life I am also too empathetic when I probably shouldn't be...And sometimes I have bad self-esteem so I don't always stand up for myself. :mcheh: Working on it though!

I'm also actually thinking about quitting my job because they won't give me enough hours, and the one I do get are so far away it seems silly to travel so much for such short shifts. So I'm applying to after school programs since I still love working with kids, and I got an interview for Monday! :mclaugh: And it's walking distance from my apartment too!
