Yeah, I often do forget what's happening. I started reading a book, and I think I got maybe 60 pages in. I really wanted to like it, but I just wasn't getting into it. So I put it down for a long time. Picked it back, didn't remember anything, started it over, got about 60 pages in, then tossed it to the side again....

@Hotaruchan: oh I'm sorry, I changed it not long ago... it's this now: https://www.goodreads.com/alicemyazdr
I forgot *facepalm* so sorry
how should I search for you?
*edit: I think I found you!

@Sanssouci: that sounds like my story too. got about that far into the book, could never get back to it, had to read from the start again, actually got further into it but stopped again and now it's been years again

@Jacobgrey: You make it sound like it is harder to read it over a long time due to it using its own vocabulary. But if it's interesting I can see why you would want to finish it.

@Wulfilalice: Since I got a friend request from you on goodreads, I assume that you did indeed find me :qw:

I feel like a local miss marple, putting together the pieces of your name, location, reading challenge, and recently added to-read books :D

I don't know if it's fully interesting to me XD It's more a case of I should probably finish it because it's such an important text for photography.

Wulfilalace; I was already wondering how you found me. Since I realised that I only have my first name given on my profile here and there are probably more people with the same first name on Goodreads :qoops:
I should probably have mentioned though, that I don't do much with my goodreads... Basicly only managing my books and sometimes browsing through the recommended books

Jacobgrey, so that's why you're taking multiple years with reading it? :mcheh:
But, you can do it!

that would totally be stalking if we didn't agree to add each other first :mclaugh: I knew I'd recognize you since you added masque. it's a self-published book so not a lot of people are raving about it. and then I saw activity on the witcher and it all just clicked

I guess that's what goodreads is for ;)

I read twelve days of faery. that's 5 of my initial 12-book challenge. again it was short! I should pick up a larger book next. maybe it'll be tigana. it should take me at least a week
