I got tested for sleep apnea but I never went back for my results.
I don't know if I still can get them xD

What would you look like as a dog and cat 8u

We have a cheap phone with a camera and my sister's tablet has one.
My dogs don't do anything when we have cameras >_>
Best I can get is them running from me xD

Why didn't you? Don't tell me you also have to pay to get results!

Well, you know that what-dog website, where you can upload pictures of dogs and it tells you what breed of dog you've got? Well, you can also use pictures that don't have dogs in them and sometimes they'll give you a dog. I got a poodle, so that's apparently what I'd look like as a dog. As for a cat, I think I might be a tortie. My boyfriend's roommate has a tortie and she's really vocal and cuddly. I hope I'd be as well mannered as that cat if I were a cat. Or maybe I'll be a siamese. Lovely singing voices, dumb as bricks. Also pretty friendly. What would you be as a dog or a cat?

Oh, yeah. I read that some dogs see camera lenses as eyes and get intimidated by them.

No, I needed to make a new appointment and go up there and talk to them.
I just never made the appointment and I don't know if I still can because it was about the middle of last year xD

>XD
I didn't know about that 8u
I just tried it and posted it on Facebook xD
I don't know what I'd actually be, though.

I think my dogs are just weenies u8
If I walk up to Saya with anything in my hand, she assumes it's medicine and runs.
Hyde just falls to the ground and gives up xD

My dad's ex shared a video on Facebook of this man talking about teaching.
He was talking about how the school system makes some kids feel like failures because they're not gifted with certain subjects.
It really made me tear up because that's exactly how I've felt when it came to math.
"Can't get it? Guess you're just too stupid."
And that's not how school should be.
You don't make kids feel stupid or inferior and praise others for getting good grades in things that come easy to them and shit on the kids that have trouble.
I tried my hardest in math and I can't do it. I CAN'T do it. I can do every other subject, but not math.
And I'm "lazy" or "not trying" and shit. I HATE people saying that.
To me, the fact that people fail at things, means they need others to work with.
What they lack, someone else has and what someone else lacks, they have.
You work together to do things. That's why we need to be nice to each other and stick together.
We shouldn't be divided.
A house cannot stand without multiple structures keeping it up.
You can't make a delicious meal with one single ingredient.

Anyways, it's a good video.
I don't know if others agree or not, but I know I did.

Well, maybe call and ask if it's possible before making an appointment.

ahahaha Papillon awesome! Those are cute, too!

aw, what doofs. Sounds adorbs. You need to give Saya treats out of your hands more often.

That's a good point. They say children who were praised for trying hard did better in life as opposed to children who were praised for getting good grades because they stop trying when school gets more difficult.

The game prize was taken down and replaced due to lack of interest.

I made a response yesterday, but I guess I didn't post it >__>

I'll call and see.

They're both silly dogs. Saya's smarter.
She a calculating little thugass dog.
We always say "It looks like a Saya 8u" when we see something similar to her.
Like deer.

There was an experiment a long time ago where they praised one group of kids and shamed the other.
I think it had something to do with speaking and it left long-term damage to the kids.

haha, It happens sometimes.

Good. I hope they can have some answers for you.

Heehee, sounds awesome. I got to pet three dogs yesterday. They came up to me and started growling and I was concerned that it was angry but then the owner was like, no, they're friendly and I realized they weren't growling but snorting, trying to breathe and I was concerned for their health. They were super friendly, though. They kept trying to lick my face.

Geeze, those types of studies wouldn't be permitted these days. I hope they switched the shamed one to the praising group when they found it was detrimental to their psyche and performance.

My dog Soi (Hyde's and Saya's ) mom, we got her to smile.
We'd show our teeth and snort and say "Smile!" and she'd do it back.
But it looked like she was baring her teeth for attack xD
Hyde does this growling as a playful response, but my aunt thought he was just growling at her out of anger.
But I say "You better stop talking shit >>" and he's like "growlgrowlgrowl!"

They've done all kinds of horrible experiments in this world.
I know one Nazi scientist had an obsession with twins and I think he sewed people together to try to make conjoined twins.
And there was one where this boy had his penis cut off and so his parents tried to raise him as a girl, but he never felt right so he ended up killing himself.

Aw. haha. I went to this dog meet up event and there was this dog who had this gigantic stick and she kept abandoning the stick and snatching it away when someone else tried to take it. I kept trying to take it and all of a sudden she snatched it from me, then pressed stick into me while growling. I was like, oh no, I pushed her too far but then I realized her tail was also going a mile a minute and I was confused like, is she angry or happy? What do I do with this? And her owner's like, that's her way of saying she wants to play tug of war. So I played tug of war with the dog for a bit. Got super muddy. So worth it, though.

That's so sad. I know of some experiments like the Standford Prison Experiment. And Albert and the White Rat.

I find it easy to know what dogs are like based on body language.
But like you said and I said, dogs are different and it's hard to tell.
But I can usually tell if a dog is friendly or not.
My dad's always been good with animals.
He grew up on a farm and stuff, but animals just LOVE him.
He's even had strays come up to him and trust him.

There was a case of a cop jumping over the fence into someone's lawn and they had two dogs (pit bulls).
The first one sauntered up like "Hi who is you 8u" and the cop shot him and then shot the second one that ran at him.
He was like "THEY WERE ATTACKING ME!"
No, bitch, the second one attacked because your ass shot the first one.
And of course a good dog would go to a stranger jumping a fence onto their property >_>
And it wasn't even the house they were needed at.
So he jumped onto private property at the wrong place and shot the dogs o___O
Sorry, but if a dog in a yard comes at you for going into their yard over the fence, that's a good dog >__>

I learned about the first Gynecologist, I think he was first, and her thought black women didn't need anesthesia because their dark skin color made them stronger than white women.
And I saw people saying "Well, people back then didn't understand a lot!"
Nah, that seems based on racism.
I don't think there was any thought of it being legit true >__>
Maybe it's because the time period I live in, but some of these things like this and "cures" seem absolutely stupid and only stupid or sadistic people thought of them and were like "I'm a professional u8" and everyone was like "Ohhhh okay 8D"

I think it's harder for me because I've never owned a dog. Some dogs are super clear with their language and others I think they don't like me and their owners are like, "No, they're trying to play with you" and I'm like, "I DON'T KNOW IF I TRUST YOU THEY'RE GROWLING PRETTY HARD"

:qf: That makes me so sad. I mean, I can understand why; you have to prioritize your own safety over a dog's, but it's still very sad that they weren't able to understand the dog's body language and reacted that way.

That is odd, but there is a gene that correlates hair colour with pain tolerance so it's not complete bullshit. Redheads often have gene mutations that makes them more susceptible to pain and anesthesia doesn't work well on these people. Or so I've heard.
