I'll post a pretty picture later today ;) in an hour or so...
(the two books I featured so far were ebooks so there's not much to play with)

are we already connected on goodreads?
I check out books in those newsletters and new releases letters as soon as I can because I'll forget otherwise. but I also came to a conclusion that I should check out lists on listopia more often because the emails only include so many books and I don't want to miss something exciting just because it didn't fit

@jacobgrey: that makes you the only one in this thread whose reading capacity has not been melted by summer, assuming everyone is in the northern hemisphere XD
Southern hemisphere here! :mccool: It's the first week of winter so i'm looking forward to sitting down with a book and and a mug of hot chocolate once it gets even colder. I'm mainly having trouble reading because i'm studying, bUT it's currently my last week so i'll have a lot more time once this week's over :mcglee:

I've also just been given Ready Player One to borrow so that's priority on my reading list right now. I'll hopefully easily have it started and finished next week, without anything getting in the way. *fingers crossed*

Also, just a little appreciation side note here: This little community is so nice and comforting. Even if i'm not posting an update, it's just nice to get tiny little snippets of other peoples lives and read what you're all up to. (<- I'm tired, I'm getting sappy :mcsleepy: :mctongue: )

Oh, Ready Player One... I don't know, the movie trailer kind of did not catch me. But maybe the story is good nevertheless :) Enjoy reading it :)

Aw Ghost, that's so cute!
I agree :)

I've been very busy, so I haven't been reading much. I am working on my outdoor tortoise enclosure, and I am working on sexing and separating some baby mice!

This heat makes me want to do nothing BUT read haha. I can't sleep well so reading kind of feels like the next best thing. Going off into another world while relaxing is kind of like dreaming, right?
