Yeah, I think I have a lot of stuff on my lists of which I know I am never going to buy any of it. It's more of a "dream list" than a wish list.
From time to time I clean up my wishlist and delete some stuff that has been on there for probably years, like "You haven't bought that until now, so you probably never will". It's also a good thing to find out whether you
really want/need something, because if you haven't bought something after a year, it cannot realy have been that urgent. And I think it is also a good method to prevent impulse buying.
And it helps a bit with the craving to purchase something nice and new when you don't have money. You can always lie to yourself and tell yourself "some day....".
Of course the best thing is when you finally can buy something off your list. But that doesn't happen too often in my case.
