Yes, we found an apartment. It's not perfect, because it's located in the middle of nowhere, in the Odenwald and public transportation is not too great. We didn't search for apartments in this area at the beginning at all, because it is not ideal, but since we could not find an apartment for so long and after our rent was raised a second time, we got pretty desperate. So we applied for an apartment there and since the area isn't very popular we got it. We will be moving next month and I am going crazy with preparations. I could not sleep and woke up at 5 am, starting to search for wall paint.
Yes, I already looked at some swatches, but they are really small and it is so difficult to tell what they will look like if you paint a whole wall and under different light conditions, since you always just have lamp light in a hardware store. That's why I would prefer to see images of whole walls on the internet, but it's not making things easier since they look so different on every photo. All I want is a light gray shade that hass absolutely no beige in it. But the same paint will look cool gray in one picture and suddenly taupe in another.
And I cannot even decide whether I want to paint a whole wall or make some kind of pattern - I've seen some great images where people painted mountain shapes on their walls and I think it looks grat, but it seems to be mostly used for children rooms, so I am not sure it will look silly in my bedroom? You know, like this?
