I just wish I was closer in age to her.
I'm almost 20 years older :\

>XD

There's a baby bird in our yard.
I didn't go near it because I know the mama is nearby.
And it's a mockingbird. Those are mean as hell.
But I Googled it, and it said it's normal for birds that age to be on the ground.
They're learning how to bird u8

Wow, that is a big gap. I'm only 6 years older than my brother. I did apparently help change his diapers, but I have no memory of this.

Yeah, we get goslings some springs. They're adorable but so annoying because the adults are SUPER mean and they always lay their eggs on top of this tree house at the corner of this person's backyard and then the babies jump down and end up in four different backyards and they can't get them back together because the goslings can't fly yet and there are fences between the backyards. :qd:

Yup. My personality is closer to her in age, I guess.
We joke a lot and watch similar things.

Well, the baby bird died.
I don't know from what.
But it has been like 105-110 degrees :\
(40 - 43 C)

It doesn't look hurt. It was just fallen over.

Well, that's good. Sorry, I didn't see your comment.

That's so sad. :qf: Thanks for converting the temperature to celsius. That is really hot. It's only like, 30 C here (86 F) so I can't imagine what that'd be like.

Maybe from the heat. I hear smaller animals don't do as well in hot weather.

The only state hotter is Arizona. They had decently higher heat, but not near as much humidity xD

The grass is dead. No rain. This field across from us caught on fire a couple of weeks ago.
We need rain so bad.
It's rained for like 10 seconds the past month >_>

They don't. I feel so bad for the little bird.

Also, the stray had her kittens u8
She has at least 4 of them.

Humidity definitely makes things worse.

Man, that sounds like it'd do baby birds in, yeah. That's so sad. We're doing okay up here. We've got wildfires in the interior but where I am is coastal enough that the wind blows it away and brings in rain from the ocean, though not very often, either. It must be awful to have humidity yet no rain.

Yeah, that's very sad. Never learnt how to bird. :qf:

I hope she's keeping cool. I hope her kittens are keeping cool. I hope they have access to clean water to drink.

It's obnoxious 8u
We constantly have at least 35% humidity. Sometimes up to 50% and no rain in the forecast xD

It actually looked and felt like it was going to pour down yesterday.
The clouds were gray and the wind picked up and I felt two sprinkles and then nothing else happened ._.

I'd usually bury a dead bird, but I don't have my shovel and the ground is too hard =_=

She's staying at the neighbor's house. She was in my aunt's backyard the other day. Lounging by the porch. I sneak her some snacks sometimes. My aunt tells me not to feed her.

That sounds pretty awful. We had humid summers in Korea but at least it rained pretty often. I'm not sure which I prefer; humid summers of Korea or humid winters here. On one hand, rain during summer is better, but on the other hand, mosquitoes get worse in humid regions. And you can't just have it be dry all the time; then you'd have a hard time growing anything.

Aw. At least there was SOMETHING.

That's very sweet of you. I don't know if I'd do something like that. Today I saw a squirrel tail but it didn't move when I got near. So I tried to get even nearer and it still didn't move, but with the bushes I couldn't get near enough to see if it was attached to a live squirrel. So I think it may have been dead. I left it and went to work and since I go home on the other side of the street I didn't think to check on my way back home. It's sad; it had a cute fluffy tail.

Good for you. I hope you're leaving out some water for her, too. I'd be more worried about her dehydrating over her starving.

The game prize was taken down and replaced due to lack of interest. The new game prize is:

I don't think perfect weather exists anywhere. Especially now xD

I've usually done that. I've had to bury pets before.
We buried a dead baby squirrel a few years ago.
Now new people live there 8u
I was always told it's just life. Things die, they decay, they feed the earth, the earth feeds others and so on.
My dad wants me to cremate him and put his ashes in a capsule to grow a tree.

Oh, they get water. My one faucet drips constantly and they hang out around this chicken place and behind a liquor store and stuff.
Cats LOVE that place behind the liquor store.
I don't know what it is, though.
It's some oldass building ._.

Touche. :qlol:

That sounds cool. I think I'd like to do a green burial.

That is a pretty cool looking construction. Maybe they feed them there. lol
