I finished Miss Mabel's School for Girls
recommend to fans of dark YA
will be reviewing it on goodreads, of course, I just don't have the energy right now. I've finished it two days ago and couldn't pull myself together for a review

I don't mark books as read until I've written a review and don't start new ones or proceed with other current books. that's plenty of motivation! XD
but usually I like reviewing. I like expressing my opinion, I'm that vain, and it feels good to practice writing. reworking the first version of the text, making it more efficient and expressive. it's also just useful to organize my thoughts on the book, analyze what I read and how I feel about it, and why I feel this way. it's kind of rare that I don't feel like writing a review XD

I used to like writing really long, detailed reviews. Now I just write a short one after I finish, because I usually finish late at night XD

I write short ones I guess. I like to express why I chose 3/4/5 stars.

Pretty much similar, I usually say this was great and I wish this was better and then finish.

I think that's what I do, too :)
Thinking which book I want to take with me to Rome. I guess I won't have time for reading except on the plane, but still.. The French one might be a little too "heavy" for a holiday, so I want to take sth else, but this means I have to start another new book which means tha I read 4 books at the same time..

I finished The Dark Army. I really liked the series before, but now I feel like it's dragging on a bit... Only one more book to go though.

Yesterday I went to start one of the books I picked up for free at a train station near us that has a book rack. It's a John Grisham, The Client, as I haven't read anything by him before.
So I opened up the front cover and... guys. It's signed 8D
And a first edition 8D
This pretty much made my week

Wow, nice find!
I just read 15 out of 16 books in a series. And, of course, the library doesn't have #16....
