i'm fine with gender imbalance if it isn't otherwise sexist.
i dislike stuff through men's eyes when it's western or indian. i've only tried east asian stuff other than that, and i don't mind those most of the time. their masculinity is less likely to annoy me because it's a different, and to me, better conception. it's not all east asian media. lot of it the recent stuff geared towards women. oh, i especially like bl. it's often problematic but there's some good bl out there.

YES. creepy kawaii is the shit. gothic lolita is :qh: subversive kawaii is fun too. not fond of the flood of offensive kawaii pixel texts tho.
i miss kawaii messageboards. sigh. i miss hard pixelling actually, i don't see it around much.

yeah it's just really really dumb to decide that something is gonna be ecchi if there are more female characters like??? :mcsweat:

Crunchyroll is making their own Original Content starting with a cartoon/anime called High Spice Girls.

Crunchyroll members were in a total UPROAR over it for many reasons. We're all expecting it to be very feminist-y due to the person leading the project and the fact that she hired an ALL FEMALE staff (white females at that and then called the staff diverse)


I can't find a Sanrio Chrome.. I meant that Kuromi's name supposedly translates to Chrome.

Mynah - Toxic masculinity is super toxic. I'm glad my husband isn't like that.

I used to be super into bl and yaoi, but now I prefer more realistic guy on guy relationships. I read a lot of fanfiction now.

I'm not sure what most of that is. But it sounds real interesting. I shall have to look it up.

From the looks of it its like a female version of Harry Potter o3o

When they release it i'll link it to ya. Supposedly will air next year I think.

owo I still enjoy BL.. There are 2 (3?) BL anime airing this season. CR got 1 (2?) of them.

The reason there's a question marked number is.. Jingai-san no Yome (jingai's wife) .. we're not sure if Jingai is male or female..

so yea.. sooo not sure if this counts as a BL yet or not. >w>, its a 3 minute long anime (anime short!). I normally enjoy short animes.. but this.. 1.5min for the story (or lack of story) and 1.5min for the theme..

Normally with shorts, the theme song is like 10-20 seconds giving the anime a little over 2-4 minutes for story. (depending on the episode length).. I'm hoping next week they cut the theme song down to 10-20 seconds and let us have some friggen story.. =/

High Guardian Spice... apparently Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network rejected it.. something like that.. How it got its name, I dunno..

owo its how we love ourselves... through hate xD

Jingai-san no Yome... it has an interesting synopsis.. but well... if they keep it how it is, having the theme take up half the show time, its not really going to be worth watching..

"I don't understand what my husband is saying" its like a 5 minute short and yet each episode had a good deal of story.
"The High School Life of a Fudanshi" again short 5ish minutes long.. but enough to give it story

"Jingai's Wife" .. it felt like i was looking at a flip book or something instead of an anime.. one that ended with in 3-4 pages >w>,

The theme song was adorable though. The fluffy thing he's to marry does a dance.. owo its cute

most of the fanfiction i read is kpop tho and that's also what i write o u o

I swear I replied to this already... Maybe I replied somewhere else on accident.

Seems like a stupid long opening for such a short show.
I don't know how I feel about those tiny tiny shows. I have a hard time adjusting to ones that are just 15 minutes long. lol.



How does real people fanfiction work out? I've never read any.

I've read one real people fanfic.. it was a GacktxHyde one o3o what they did was take the filming set of Moonchild and made a steamy romance scene in-between filming >w>, "Behind the scenes look, what do the actors do?! >:D"
