Well, there WAS. But the spam area is the one area where it's explicitly clear that you can post multiple times in a row.
So for making notes, I didn't want to have to worry about getting in trouble for posting more than once in a row myself, which meant spam area.
Finally someone told me that so long as it wasn't abused, you can do that in other areas when you're making notes and have a lot of text and run into restrictions. So for instance my quest notes are multiple quests every single post (because I go back and edit them in as I do them) instead of just one each. And I hope that means it will be okay....
but it's still easier and more stress-free to do it in the Spam area.
Well, it would be, if I weren't worried about it getting deleted. >.<

I used to keep everything in my spam because I just thought there was no way I would ever lose it. A bit naive to think I would always remember to post there lol.
Actually I was a bit relieved when I lost it. I had gotten to the point of being too obsessive with recording some things. like how much fp my knuffels were digging up. It was nice to get an excuse to stop.
