Can you do it from the middle of a song? Like when you get a snippet or phrase stuck in your head and you can't remember the rest of it at all, can people go to you and hum it for you and you can tell them what song it is?

Some songs I know well, I can tell what it is with 3 seconds of it.
Other songs I can't remember because they sound similar to other songs.
One band I can usually identify is Metallica.
From the singer's voice and the music.
Lyrics sometimes take me a while unless it's a unique set.

Hello, sorry for intruding guys but was checking out the thread for a place to talk about art, and saw Nankuii's and Suugar-Fiend's posts, I really like your redraws Nankuii, great job, and awesome pixel art by Suugar-Fiend. I wish I could draw cute things like that.... I can sorta draw chibis but they don't look too cute lol ._.

Thank you ! :qh: . The colors where like the hardest part to figure out bcs I learned that with pixel every pixel counts. orz lol that sounds corny. What I mean is that it was harder to fix bad color choices because I couldn't just drop a layer on top to fix it :mcsquee: . Like I usually do.... :mcheh:

Thank you so much! :qh: yay! another universe fan! And OMG you should just binge the whole series it's amazing you won't be disappointed :qstar: . The episodes are kind of short so you could probably knock it out in a day or 2.
The season finale will kind of blow your mind.
And don't worry if you're first couple attempts at pixel didn't work out like you wanted you should try again~! it's really fun when you figure out the basics.
I mean I still haven't figured out the basics but I am sure I can only improve from now :mctongue:
I've been doing some watercolor these past couple of days and have put blinking avatar on hold. But as soon as I finish that I need to learn, like I've been wanting to learn for years and 2019 is ride or die year for real. I can't procrastinate anymore. :mcmeh:

You should totally give it a go! I found it really therapeutic once you get to knowing what's going on lol. And thank you! I am very very happy people are enjoying my first pixel lol.

Don't worry I pretty much just intruded too lol. Just ran up on the regulars here lol :mctongue: . And Thank you so much for your compliment it means a lot :mcwink: . Also don't give up on drawing chibis, I am sure with continued practice It'll become easier. I just checked out your art and it's super incredible! Like wow so realistic O.O
I am pretty bad at full bodies but that's only I think because I haven't taken the time to learn. I just love chibis so much and have been a sole chibi artists for years XD.
lol we should all do a "draw this in your style" challenge, that would be metal I think I would struggle with yours lol :mcheh:. It's awesome how we're all kind of specialized in our preferred styles :mcwink:

I think I need to branch out more lol, -the struggle when you want to do everything but there isn't enough hours in a day :mcsquee: -

KC, it was fun watching you draw that, your art is very cool!
I just got a video editor these days to do some timelapses like that but I'm still trying to figure it out.

Ohh Suugar-Fiend a "draw this in your style" would be fun!
I can vary from a bit more stylized like with larger eyes to something more realistic and I often don't know what to choose :/
I feel that struggle to want to do everything but there isn't enough hours in a day lol, though also - I think my work would be more consistant if I settled on one style.
I also want to learn how to do 3d but haven't had enough time yet D:
