Also, @ the people who were saying they'd pronounce it similar to christine - yes, I get that, it sounds similar in my head as well.

I still need so many flowers... I hope I'll at least manage to get all the petals. But I'm not so sure, we'll see how much time for posting I find over easter. My mom is coming to visit, so that's not exactly going to help.

Well, it would be nicer if she hadn't been so "I'm coming whether you want me to or not" about it... Not that I didn't want her to come, but I was a bit hesitant when she started planning it because I didn't really know at the time what my or my bfs situations would be now regarding working on a thesis. And then she was kind of "I'm just planning this, I won't take much of your time, it's fine if we just stop by shortly and entertain ourselves most of the weekend, but I'm doing it."
Ok, now we planned just to meet for breakfast on Saturday and that'd be fine, but it feels weird to have her here and let her just do stuff without me throughout the day. And of course recently she ended up asking whether we would like to also meet again for a bit on Sunday, which ended up with us inviting her to come to us for breakfast (her suggestion was us coming to have breakfast at the hotel with her, but I'm not so fond of the breakfast at that hotel). And I don't mind that, but somehow it all feels weird.
Like, I'm a bad daughter for not wanting to just spend all the time with her, but I'm also stubborn and still kind of angry about the way she planned this. And I also do think I need some rest during the holidays, and she has a tendency to be rather exhausting to me, so I wouldn't be getting much of that if she was here all the time. Also I want to use the time to get a bit ahead on my current sewing project, it's always difficult to get much done in the evenings or on normal short weekends.

LittleJulez - They didn't call me at the appointment time but called me hours later scheduling a new appointment to call the next day. Didn't call me that day either. Then I try calling the place to see what was up and they close at 4 on Fridays. Then I was using the potty and I got a call so I ignored it. It was the disability lady! Saying she was ready to do the interview. I tried calling back but it's one of those ones you need an extension to get through to and she didn't leave the extension. Ugh. So now I have to wait until Monday and she might call me.



Chrizine - I think that most adults don't want to spend a ton of time with their parents. Especially if they come over uninvited. I wouldn't feel bad.
