If you freeze strawberries you'd want to use them for like smoothies and things. They get mushy if you thaw them out and then it's all weird.

We hadn't either. When we first got her she was a lot less fluffy, we thought she was a russian blue. Turns out that they're related. She's like a long haired russian blue. Thank you. She's so cute.

I might once I'm in a good place in life. I think cats might be better for me since I won't have to take them out for walks. But I still would feel bad about them being all alone during the day. Boyfriend's roommate's cat was all alone during the day and she's just such a cuddle-bug. She'd come out and rub herself all over you and then try to show you her food dish. lol I feel so sad for her now that roommate's moved out and she's down to one human showing her attention.

Ooh, makes sense. Boyfriend's sister-in-law has a Siamese that's long-furred. She is also a cuddle-bug, but not to the point of the roommate's cat. She's more, "I tolerate you petting me" rather than "OH GOD PET ME NOW I LOVE YOU". You know? Though the SIL's cat will also tolerate stomach pets while the roommate's cat won't.

lol your dad's a hypocrite. My parents sometimes put evaporated milk on the strawberries, but we usually eat them plain if we ever get them.

There's this chocolate store at this huge mall about an hour from where I live, and they do their chocolate-dipped strawberries right at the window. They're very tempting. But also very expensive.

Yeah, you make him work on his diet and exercise. Damn.

Cats are very chill most of the time. Many cats don't like other animals. You just gotta ask when you go to adopt one. They'll usually have some clue as to the cat's personality. Blue hates other animals. She loves Kevin, like a ridiculous amount. She loves me too but not quite as much. lol.

Blue loves being loved. She wants to be held all the time. But only when you're standing up. She usually dislikes being held while you're sitting down. I don't know why. She is always jumping up on the laptop when we're playing on it. lol.

It's not too hard to do your own. Just melt some chocolate on the stove then dip the berries in it. So good.


I'm afraid Kevin's gonna get diabetes. He loves to eat candy. Like a lot. He eats it like a child. He's not near as bad as his mom though. She actually does have diabetes. Just about the only things she eats are carbs, candy, and booze. None of those are good for diabetes.

She also refuses to use any of her mobility devices. (canes/walkers/etc)
She never tests her blood sugar. She's completely in denial about how bad her diet is for her. Like it would be super bad for someone without diabetes? With diabetes, it's practically a death sentence.

Now she's in the hospital again. She's got fluid on her stomach, kidneys, and liver. I'm 1000% sure it's because of her diet.

I'm sorry your dad's health is shitty. I hope he can maintain until he gets home. It's so hard to do that though. The food they give can't be that healthy.
