I have my phone connect to mom's Amazon account cuz she has Prime and they have some anime
Of which one I'm currently watching
If you watch it you might think it's 90s-00s kid's show because 3d animation
But then an anime-specific bit comes up and yup

It also started as a manga, still gotta get the last omnibus tho
Especially since the next episode introduces a character who isn't first brought in until about halfway through the manga
And this is episode 9 of 51 for season one
There's two seasons
Most the episodes don't follow the books at all, like the anime has them in the 2 story apartment they don't move into until the second omnibus, the first being single story and no pets allowed

The omnibusses I have that talk about the anime don't mention it ever being 2d

The intro song has 2d bits, some of the graphics are deliberately 2d, but it's overall 3d



The manga is Chi's Sweet Home, I think they changed Home to Adventure because the anime focuses a lot more on Chi's adventures away from home

If there's no stairs inside the unit it's the first apartment, on top of no pets allowed Chi isn't the only hidden pet tho
