Yeah, genetics in my family suck ass too. Kevin doesn't have a lot of bad stuff besides diabetes and obesity. But it's a large contributing factor to why we don't want to have children. Not the only reason, but a big part of it.


Also if any of y'all decide to get pregnant some day it's pretty common to get diabetes during pregnancy so you should be aware of that.


I have very light blue eyes. I would say kind of gray blue? It depends on the light.

Light: That's a pretty common reason for people to not want to have children.

I went for an eye appointment and the guy asked me which diseases and illnesses run in my family and I said "Yes." and he said "To which one?" and I said "All of them 8u"

A big thing that seems genetic is mental illness.
I know my great grandma was bipolar and I think my sister has been diagnosed as being bipolar or they're trying to figure out if she is, my mom is bipolar I believe and she has depression and PTSD, and I have depression and an anxiety disorder...
My dad told me when he was growing up, no one talked about depression so if he felt down, he'd just self-medicate.

Dammit someone needs an insta-cure for diabetes u8<

My eyes are green with central heterochromia.
My mom and dad have similar eyes.
My sister is only my half sister, but she got my grandpa's gray eyes and she has partial (?) heterochromia.
I never really looked people in the eyes most of my life, so I just assumed everyone had eyes like me .__.
Not the color but the central heterochromia xD

Moi, that reminds me of something kinda funny. I have a mole right in the centre of my torso, between my chest and belly button. It's kind of a very noticeable placement. When I was a little kid, like just starting school, I had a friend whose house I stayed around at for a sleepover. There, we discovered that she has the same mole in the same place. Very random. But being kids, we just thought "hey everyone must have this". Years later she brought up how she had believed that for ages, until she met more people who didn't have it and realised that we are the only two XD

You know what's interesting? I have this freckle on the side of my hand. I noticed my sister has the same one in the same place. I told my mom and she has the same one in the same place.

I actually wonder if it's proven or can be proven that you get things like being accident-prone genetically xD
Because my dad and I are the only people that I know of in the families that are accident-prone.

Dad: -lights oven- ....Is it on? -bends down to look- -burns forehead- UB!!
Me: Haha-- -hits head on rack of pans- uB!!

I always get told "You're just like your dad >8u" when I randomly get hurt xD

@moi: There's probably something in it. Like maybe you both have something that causes you to have less spatial awareness, which would make you clumsier. Or something like that, IDK.

I have a kinda bump on my forehead, like a mole but clear skin. Not a wart, but just.... a little bump. And both my mum and grandmother have/had it too, in slightly different spots but still on the forehead. No idea where it came from. Funny how genes can create something so small across a family.

I have a birthmark on the inside of my left elbow, and my mom has one in the exact same spot but on her right arm.
And now I'm worried, because I had a huge birthmark on my lower belly that made me very insecure and I removed it years ago, but what if my children get it and it makes THEM feel insecure? :mcomg: I didn't show my belly forever, even when I wanted to because fashion trends etc., I don't want that for my kids :mcgloom:

Me personally, I don't care if someone has a birthmark, so no one has to worry about me judging them.

I heard people talking about how your birthmark is a scar from your past life 8u

I have a beauty mark on my cheek, but I don't know if that counts as a birthmark.
I've heard it does and doesn't xD;

I remember watching this video of people that took Barbies and Bratz dolls and erased all the makeup and made them look more realistic.
I love seeing people repaint dolls, but one part of the video pissed me off.
They were like "They removed the makeup to make her look more realistic! They even removed the beauty mark to make it look even more realistic!"
I was like WOW. And I wasn't the only one that complained xD
