Hello dear! Sorry, life has been busy getting ready for Thanksgiving here and getting items to collection agencies for Christmas donations.

I love the Midnight Rose set, I do not use it often though I admit. I do love Vindreas items and they're the only ones that have ever been added to the site from an artist not Firn. Firn has taken, and created, a lot of items on this site through user suggestions. Such as the fox set! I was one of the ones that begged for it constantly and was so excited when it was released. Lol. I think I ended up buying like 4 sets cause I was just so excited to get a set I had been wanting and loved her ideas and how it was executed.

The items I were referring to are the PTK shirt and Kuroneko (Love them both but have never been able to get my hands on either) Pura emoticon and MGATW Background. They have weird names, so it's hard to get them to come up on the dream avi if you don't know what they're called. Thankfully I have them so it was easy to find the names. Lol I used to be a collector and had almost every event, TT, MT, and special release items on the site. It took me a very long time to grow my collection, then when I left I had no intentions of coming back as Firn, at the time, was making it very hard for me to participate in the site, so I began selling my collection as I knew they were rare and would be very hard to get as so many of us who owned them were leaving the site. Needless to say, I now greatly regret it. I know I will never get those items back as they will never be released again, I do not have much money even if they were released again, and those who own them are now gone from the site. I have thought about contacting old friends on here to see if they'd be willing to give me their items, but I also feel that is rude so I don't want to. Lol. I wish I could get all the MT's I missed on while gone at least as I made sure not to sell any of my MT collections, so I own one of every MT that was released before I left and a couple since then.

The only other stories I can think of that go along with items is the HP Medal, the Helpful Person Medal. That is not given out anymore and hasn't been for many many years. It was a rare medal to get and you could feel proud to own it, I still have mine that I earned and will never given it out. When the site was first starting Firn and Starkad were still learning English and would have slip ups on spelling or sentences that was not put together correctly, so we as users of course let them know so they could correct it. They were both very grateful for the help and Starkad started to give out a few Helpful Person Medals to those who helped a lot or in a big way. That was a nice surprise when he suddenly started giving those out, of course though, thanks to some users it back fired and so was no longer given out. People really wanted to get them so they would report bugs, spelling, and grammar errors that weren't actually there. As you know with speaking English there are several ways sentences can be put together to make a sentence and it be correct. Well these users were reporting them with new ways to say it when how it was written originally was 100% correct. After that started the medal disappeared and Starkad basically asked us to stop reporting his errors because he was getting so many false reports it was more of a problem than helpful. Some people still reported errors to him in private, that were real errors, and he did appreciate it, but as far as most users knew, you were to not report them anymore. A couple people that did it privately still secretly got a medal every now and then as he was grateful for real problems being pointed out.

There's also the Heartflower Pin. I admit, I do not remember how we got those, I don't know if they were given to everyone, I want to say no, but I am not 100% sure. I do know a set was given out to everyone way way later to match the pin as it was the only item like it there for a long time, so hard to match with.

Oh no, I just checked my inventory and apparently I am missing one of the Jellyfish backgrounds. I forgot there were two. Now I am sad I will never have the full set of it. :mccry:

The inflation could have ended up different, but it would have only worked if people didn't leave so it was still popular and there were enough donations coming in. Like I said we, Firn included, tried very hard to stop it from happening. When there is a smaller player base and even smaller donation list, it's bound to happen though. I have no idea on how to go about trying to fix it though, unless someone put a ton of rare items and fairy coins out into the world at very low prices, even then you risk the chance of people buying them up just to sell them at a greater price. So the only way I see to do it is for Firn to basically rerelease a lot of the rare items in mass amount, along with Fairy coins, so those that are active can get the items as a reasonable price, because then I believe people would sell their other items at lower price as well since those rare items are worth so little, it would drive down the price of everything.
Even if Firn did do that though, it brings up more problems such as a lack of donations because many fairy coins would be out and about for awhile and this site is already really lacking in donations, so while it would be helpful to the userbase it would cause far too many problems for actual website and it's survival so I would not recommend doing it.
As I said, if I can get back into the site and can get some extra money saved up and put aside, I'd donate a good bit so that I could get TT Sets and hopefully passed MTs, but I would not be able to do it often enough for it to have an impact on the economy. That's a mess not any one person can fix I'm afraid.

I don't remember what the other sites were called saldy as it has been so many years. I do believe Ernya was one of them, the one run by Maus I do not remember, I think it had Moon or Star in the name, but that's all I remember. I'd recognise the site itself if I saw it, but not the name sadly.

Mother of an amazing little boy.
We all have our own problems. You focus on the good and live life day by day.
Don't be afraid to ask people for help, no matter how small the problem.
You are loved, don't ever let yourself feel or think otherwise.

sorry i took a few days! this really is a busy season with thanksgiving, christmas and new years', even though i don't celebrate it there's a lot of family gatherings happening for me at this time cause everyone is given work leave etc.
how is it for you? busy i presume?

the fox set, is that the coltish kitsune set or something else?
oooh i didn't know about the ptk shirt's existence! also what does the pura emoticon even mean?
it's amazing that you have every MT from that last time you were active, though; and i know what you mean about collecting the items. firn's art is so pretty i want practically every item that's released ahah.

ooooh i didn't know about this hp medal either, like at all! next time i host one of the collector's corner contests i'll make the theme medals! and ughh i hate when users abuse a system for their own gains, to the detriment of the community. :mcargh: even during FC inflation, when some users were circulating more FC at reduced prices to counter the inflation, others were buying the FC at reduced price and reselling at inflated price. it's so selfish.

yeah! the individual heartflower items are still a little difficult to make an avatar with. if a set was given out to everyone that explains why it's not super expensive or difficult to get now.

yeah, it doesn't look like there's any simple fix anymore. :mcgloom: i'm afraid i don't know what, if anything, can be done.

ernya had really lovely avatars and art! i can see the inspiration as it had a similar vibe to kofk with a focus on super pretty avatars and art. hmmm moon or star? i've been part of almost every avatar forum in existence after 2015-16 ish so i'm actually quite a latecomer to the world of avatar forums even though i pride myself on trying every one lol. it's sad, the site probably shut before i could ever try it; that was the case with a lot of avatar sites.

And I love how her style has changed and you could say softened, because it gives such a gentle feel.

Nice. I don't know if we have kimchi ramen at my dad's work, but I've had spicy shrimp ramen and it had tiny shrimp in the bowl. TINY!!! I was like where the heck did these come from?! They weren't in the season package! I'm guessing buried under the ramen. lol
