There are lots of firefighters fighting it.
If they were to just let it burn, which it's in a national forest, it would then probably burn the town.
They're doing the best they can but it's really hard with the weather conditions we are having this week. We are having a heatwave, with bad strong hot winds that keep trying to make the fire come closer to town.
There's lots of smoke. I won't be opening the doors today or leaving the flat due to smoke. I'm asthmatic, been using my ventolin each night.
We have I think 130 firies from another state that are trying to help too.
This is what NSW Rural Fire fb page posted this morning 2 hours ago
At 10am there are 97 bush and grass fires burning in NSW. Of these, 50 are not contained and three fires are at the Watch and Act alert status. Around 1,700 personnel are in the field.
There are extremely hot conditions over the firegrounds today and there are strong winds with a gusty southerly change expected toward the end of the day.
Ours is still being controlled.
