Yes. It's so pretty we must stare at it. lol

Oooh! Yeah. And little grapes and they're still juicy.

I just realized that "take out" means food, dating, and murder. And if you were a female praying mantis you'd have all three.

Yes! lol

Slow and boring. This year I actually can't wait because we bought my daughter a microscope for Christmas and I ordered her a Disney Gargoyles shirt and we have them now locked up in Grandpa's room. She's going to go nuts! We also got my sister's daughters an Easy Bake Oven to share and her son clothes. And my brother's daughter we got her Frozen 2: Elsa and Anna dolls, and my bro's sons some dinosaurs and sea creatures.

How about you?

that's so sweet! it's wonderful that you all bought her things that she specifically will love.

i don't celebrate thanksgiving or christmas and neither does my family, but i do have holidays and i'm using them to catch up with things i love. writing, roleplaying, sketching, just hanging out on avatar forums. i went back to trisphee and my activity on here picked up too, even if most of it is just lurking, lol. but i'm happy that i'll have time to make the most of the candy caravan being here, for once.

i do think i might do something for new years' though. hang out with irl friends. even if not on the day itself, sometime close to it.

We normally do, but she doesn't have much of an imagination, she's more of a thinker, so other than the shirt, I'm hoping the microscope will keep her interested.

Oh? What are your holidays? Nice, I'm trying to work on art, but it's slow going.

I never do anything for new years. Nothing I care to do.

oooo. do you have an art thread on here?

i tend to do something different for new years' every year. sometimes i do nothing. one year i tried to start a planner.

@DC your art is super cute!

i'm afraid that once i graduate college and don't come back to my family every time i have a break, then i'll be working in some faraway city and my friends will also scatter over the country. i know it's going to happen but i'm so not looking forward to it.

I don't have Disney +. I bought the DVD sets a while back. It's my daughter's favorite series. And the best thing is because I don't have Disney + my daughter can't tell me she has to have her tablet or she can't watch the series.

@Mynah
Thanks!

Yeah. I know how it is. It's a real bummer.
