It's not so much that I hate them but my very first event was a pop up event and I remember spending hours on an old computer trying to get everything. And I didn't. Not that I have used items from that event in years. They're so Halloween themed that they don't work in any other time of the year and I always tend to use the newest items.
It became a bit of a trauma XD

That being said, I hated growing pumpkins or whatever even more.

Ugh, the hair is gonna kill me.

Getting the dresses was bad enough but it'll take months to get all that hair done... and I'm not even talking about the newest release either. :mcdead:

The newest release is only 5 donuts so it'll be easier than the other hair.
Don't loose hope!

Oh, strangely enough I actually kinda enjoyed growing the pumpkins. It was cute! Depressing when you forgot a day or messed up the order, though!

But yeah, having a variety of tasks has always been the best ones. :)

@Kuuki, is that event the one with the giant pumpkin face background? It's the only one I remember as having the most horrifyingly halloween-y look, impossible to use on any other day lol

Nope, it was the 2009 one with spiders and the cute/scary plum and crimson colored small pumpkins.

I wasn't around for that one! But I guess a popup event is never a good introduction to events, lol.

You didn't miss much.
As I said, I didn't use them a lot afterwards. I do like the items though. I'm just drawn to shiny new things when I make Halloween avatars.

I remember the bat pop-up one. I had a friend that just joined and ended up getting like two extra sets (she helped me get all the items since I loath pop up events) and I remember all of the items went for a high price back in the day.

I think this time I'll get enough donuts for the items I am going for! I'm glad the new hair is cheaper, I'm dreading getting the hair which is what I'm going for next. But I know I will use them.

Okay the popup ones where you scroll ten pages and get eight, yeah they can be annoying with how constant they are, but for people who don't get on much, those are a boon

Ouch, pop-up events. I also hate those. Too much mindless clicking and you can't actually give too much attention to what is actually on the site, because it's not effective if you don't click click click. Though it's not so bad if there are other things besides pop-ups. I really like this events with various tasks, different one each day. They are pretty refreshing and pop-ups aren't bad just for few days.

As for growing events, I personally just love those. It's nice you have to think a bit and act accordingly for three days for each plant. The art is cute. And I like the idea that there's something being 'grown'.

I want to practise my English. If you see any mistakes, please send me a pm.

Why do some people use such a small font size? It hurts my eyes... :mcdead:
