@Ms_Zuralli: The pattern I have is toe up. Which wasn't that bad (after I figured out what the abbreviations were), but you had to crochet a chain then stick the needles through and that confused me. So much. I ended up finding the provisional cast on and doing that. But I do have this weird hole in the toe (which looks wonky in general but not complaining since first sock ever) that's either from that or I messed up the first increase (which I've only done a handful of times when I used scrap yarn to try different stiches) but I think I can weave the tail in and close the little hole. The gusset sounds so complex in this pattern. I read the first few steps and already confused.
This pattern uses two circular needles. So half the stitches on one circular needle and half on the other. Took me a while to realize that in the pattern, when it said needles TWO it meant the other circular needle. Size 3. Smallest I've worked with, but I haven't had issues yet. I do own a set of DPN because I had found a beginner pattern for socks for free that used those, but then that was daunting too so there they sit. lol.
My mom does no crocheting or knitting, which is probably why she bought me a sock kit for an advanced knitter. lol

Oh boy, Food Points and Donuts swapping? I wouldn’t even be mad, FPs are waaay easier to earn than Donuts, I’d enjoy it. xD (I’d also have 115k Donuts :DDDD)
And I desperately need Troth Tokens. I don’t have enough to buy all the items this month and I’m worried I won’t gain enough in the time left! D: (I keep missing a single day here and there and it’s so frustrating, especially once I reach 10 points. Worse yet when I was sure I had collected it that day. (ಥ﹏ಥ))
And I understood absolutely nothing of the crocheting and sock knitting convo, but it was still interesting to read. Always fun to see people who know stuff you don’t. :D

I keep a tab open on my phone to remind me to come on here and collect troth tokens.
And I agree. I love listening to people talk about something they like (minus my brother and his guns. I don't care about any of that lol). Like get passionate people I get you.

@Kitalpha Hart, I got back to 10/day maybe three days ago? So I'm really low on Trothies lol
@Rubie, It always happens when I thought I had collected it already, so I don't open again until the next day. Usually minutes late to boot. Aaaagh!
And I don't think I'd like to hear about guns either, though at the same maybe? But only about technical stuff I think, if it's about hunting no thanks lol.
@Ms_Zuralli, That's awesome!!! Congrats!!! *Throws confetti everywhere*
Mind if I ask in what?
