Yea.. with fish, you gotta make sure you have the proper tank size. For betta fish, most people will tell you anything under 5 gallons isn't good for the betta, 10 gallons are even better. But people manage to keep their betta in 2-3gallon tanks just fine, with proper filtration and water changes.
So many people get told that betta don't need filtration at all because they have a labrinth organ and can breath normal air like us. But they still need proper filtration in the water because they have gills too >A<
The smaller the tank, the more water changes weekly it will need. o3o
Oh and plastic plants are no-nos because they are sharp and can cut fins.
