i don't think i've ever had a sunburn, even if i've been out for a long time.
granted, every time i DO stay out for long periods of time, i put on sunscreen. i even keep a little bottle of it in my bag lol, just for reapplying. XD

I've had a few sunburns.
When I was a kid, I'd get sunburns and wouldn't even know until my mom said something.
The majority of them didn't even hurt or feel itchy or anything.
The sunburn on my face right now doesn't bother me 8u

I went to a water park one time and didn't put any sunscreen on and I payed the price.
I also thought it'd be a good idea to put cool, calming lotion on my skin.

My mom used to tell me it was because I have olive skin and so I tan instead of get sunburns.
I don't know if that's factual, though xD
I think the sun burns everyone u8

If you do get sunburned, for the love of God - don't be stupid like me and put lotion on you uB

I didn't have any aloe xD
I was flailing at my mom in pain she was on the phone so she told me to shhh <<

Olive skin has a greenish/yellowish/goldish undertones.
I think there's several different races with this skin ton.
I looked up tanning with olive skin and it gave me this:
People with olive skin can sometimes become more pale if their sun exposure is limited. Lighter olive skin still tans more easily than light skin does, and generally still retains notable yellow or greenish undertones.

My mom always told me I had olive skin, but I didn't know what it meant until recent years.
I finally looked at my skin and was like "Wow...It is kinda gold u8"

I'm pretty pale because I rarely get out, but I do seem to tan easily.
When my sister was physically going to school, I'd ride with my mom to pick her up and I had my arm hanging out the window.
I got a really nice tan on my arm just doing that ._.

Well, maybe if you go out, you'll tan easily \8u/

I sometimes worry too much about my skin color.
I'm a mix of Native American, Mexican, German and Irish.
I sometimes worry that when I speak about being Native American and Mexican, people will yell at me and say "You're WHITE stop lying!"
I can't stand racism and I want people to know that my ancestors have faced racism and harships and I want to relate to others so they know they're not in this alone.
My mom told me that people who were locked up with her said "She's mixed, isn't she u8" so that tells me people can tell I'm mixed so it made me happier.
