when a game has a good main story, but gets rid of and/or nurfs the game mechanics and characters... it takes away from the game..

and a skill thingy you need for one character can't be gotten unless you spend money on a DLC character.. >:x that skill thing that is needed for the thief character, it use to be PART of the thief in a previous game or two..

in games 1 & 2, you needed special items to steal, in game 2 the thief boosted the effect of those stealing items. never played 3 but 4 ... i can't remember if items were needed to steal.. but in 5 the stealing items were only used by non-thiefs as thiefies gotten their own stealing skill. the mechanics to get a 100% steal was a lot of weird math that flew over my head.. I just remembered:
Be higher level
HIT stat needs to be high
SPD stat needs to be high
stealing from behind/the sides boosts %


now.. your thief starts with 25%, nothing boosts it other than raising skill level/proficiany and the one evility that can is on a dlc charater not released yet.
only with that DLC evility (passive skills) can you get single steal 100% and aoe steal to 50% which is the highest you can get..

They ruined the fun of maxing out thief stats >:x

Disgaea 6 (consol game, there is a mobile game for this series that I also play I really like the series)

I'm currently playing it so it's pissing me off that the best generic character (basically non story characters that you can make lots of) is now defunct without the dlc that isn't even out yet.
More than half the generic characters are gone *(my sleepycat!! QAQ) the kitsune and nekomata characters are missing too... so many fun and cute characters I name after my friends...gone...
Item Duplication, gone.

Its sad.. the story is good, but half the fun of this game is the grind... and now there is an auto battle feature (ON A CONSOLE GAME!!)

9999 is no longer the max level, it's been upped to 9999999 ... or was there three more 9s... I haven't hit max yet... =w=

people be more upset about the 3d in the game. I think the 3d is cute and that there are other bigger issues with the game >:x like their theif nerf!

like you dont "need" the DLC, it'll just take longer to steal crap. Just angers me that they did this to the thief.... something that relied on complex mechanics...something you needed to put time and effort in to... now you just need to do simple stuff and its less effort and less fun. OnO
