I think you did the right thing, I would have done the same.
When you are pregnant (CONGRATS!) there is someone else you gotta worry about, and it's natural that a mom puts her baby first. When you don't know what's best I think being cautious is a good thing.
And now that we know more about the vaccines and side effects, you may do get your shots without worrying about it.

At work there's a running gag about hiring hookers to take my bf's virginity. And yes, I get in on it too. I don't have any interest nor desire in that whole aspect it kinda disgusts me too, which makes it funnier

My pregnant sister was also cautious about taking the vaccine. After seeing some studies she got the shots and a few weeks later she got covid XD But it was very mild and she basically had a small cough. So I'm guessing the vaccine helped.

My bf had a girlfriend or two before me, he is my first. We took each other's V-cards though
