Kuuromi was obviously someone's pet when she followed me home. Her claws had been trimmed far to far back. She trusted me, only. She was covered in fles, had ear mites galore and was infested with intestinal worms. Half the fur from her tail was missing and she had begun to develope mange on her head and ears. Good old baths and home remedies help with most... Intestinal worms needed store bought meds tho.. xp
Whoever her previous owners were, I knew they weren't getting her back. No one came looking for her, theres no id chip, she was poorly cared for. She was abandoned.
Hiro was also extremely friendly and followed me home. He didn't have health issues, was super sweet, had ferral tendancies that dictates he'd been outside for a long time. As long as one didn't do something to make him go into instinct mode, he was just a tubby kitty-bear! I believe him to have been abandoned. Happens a lot... ono
Zeke, we adopted him from a family as a kitten... he has no instincts... just thinks he does. XD
Tom Cat, a cat that had abandoned and followed me... 'home' (we were visiting friends) I was 6 years old. Had him for 10 years. The people at the apartments we were visiting, the though he was a girl. Told me to not go near him, as 'she' was a mean cat, didn't like people and would run away if one got too close. Told us how the previous owner abused then abandoned him. They were shocked when they saw me carrying him around, and him letting me do so as if he was use to it. And iit was in the way little kids carry cats. Arms under the front legs, arouns tge torso, rest of the body dangling freely. Also, that cat was half my size when carried like that. XD
When we brought him home after our stay, we took him to a vet (thinking he was a girl, cause thats what we were told) to get the cat fixed. They shaved down there, saw that he was a boy (name changed from Sue to Tomas O'Mally) and that he was already fixed. Said he was a bit over weight, was about 2-3 years old, gave us diet food for him and sent us on our way. (Oh the days vets actually helped us poor pet owners out)
well... he threw up the new pet food so mom put him outside to get some grass. Someone called tge ASPCA on is for 'abandoning' a pregnant female cat. I, a six year old, said to this ASPCA officer, "boys can't have babies!" He asked to see the cat, ask why he was outside. I told him, and he left. My first time ever seeing a ASPCA person... sometimes I eonder if I dremt that up... now a days, they don't seem to care about cats...
fk.. they don't care about dogs either, seeing how they haven't done anything about the neighbor releasing their dogs outside with no supervision... and its illegal for them to be off leash on apartment grouds as its public space.
Anywsy, 3 of my four cats i've had, followed me home. ( ͒ ु•·̫• ू ͒) ♡ waiting on the next one. (Also not counting the 27 cats/kittens I got from the free to good home news paper page... (つд⊂)
