I personally think the blank one blends quite well in this avatar.
Maybe because it's an smaller item, and maybe because it's partially covered by the blush, but you can't really tell whether it's black.

I usually don't like black + coffee though.
They are too alike to have proper contrast, but too different to blend nicely.

I have issues telling several colors apart sometimes 8u
Black and Coffee is one of them.

I think I might change my avatar. I'm not liking it much xD;

Sure.
But it's still not the most usual style for you. You usually go for more elaborated items.

Anyway, talking about avatars:

Yeah, I think I missed last year's medal...
I want this one too 8u

I also didn't receive a trophy for my knuffel winning the most recent time mine won.
It's not really a big deal so I didn't mention it xD

This new medal looks a bit sailormoon-ish to me, it's cute.

I want all the medals because I'm such a hoarder, but I must confess it's an item I rarely wear.
Anyway that's a good new reason to join the avatar contest.
