My sister and her boyfriend got my daughter a ceramic windmill with two children playing on a seesaw music thing. It's not a box, so I dunno what else to call it. Okay that's nice and all, but our room is small and the two largest walls lean in. We cannot put up shelves, unless we want to smack our heads into them every time we go in. And we have cats that will be more than happy to knock it off. Also she's ten! TEN! She'll wind it up once or twice and get bored with it because it isn't a toy. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!?! WHO THE HELL GIVES AN ACTIVE TEN YEAR OLD A MUSIC BOX THINGY?! AND IT'S CERAMIC?! Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they thought of her, but that's not a thing she's really going to like.

I just realized that "take out" means food, dating, and murder. And if you were a female praying mantis you'd have all three.

I call them music boxes.. I have a few of them myself that I got when I was young...

Cute little music boxes and music box snow globes like that aren't meant for kids but that never stopped people from getting them for me (or apparently your daughter.) Here I thought that gift idea had died out. -w- (i still have mine btw xD)


Can you fit a small night stand in your room or have it decorate the living room?

I liked music boxes and stuff like that when I was a kid xD;
I also loved porcelain dolls too - something a lot of people find creepy.
My favorite was this Swan Lake music box my grandpa got me.

Okay it's a music box. And we do have a nightstand, but the cats will knock it off. Especially the ones who get a wild hare up their asses and just start running around in the night for no reason.

She's seen it since she got home, and then my brother had her go over to his place to make up for not being able to see her yesterday. And she hasn't asked to see it again.

Oh! So I gotta tell you! Earlier when I'm outside waiting for the school bus. I'm watching one of the feral cats wiggle her butt before pouncing. Then it hit me!

What if every time a human goes to attack or fight, we have to wiggle our butts? And it was something we couldn't control, it would happen no matter what. Can you imagine all the fights and battles that couldn't start because everyone would be too busy laughing from watching it? XD

I've seen the cats here do that a lot. I remember one of them was staring at something and they looked like they were going to pounce.
I walked over to see what it was an it was a bigass cicada uB
