Hahahaha, that would be a way to go faster thru it.
But if I get in trouble I will have to do much more paperwork, so maybe not so much xD

*sighs*
Just had a meeting with the mom of a child who is not attending school - and according to law she should.
I'm already breaking %&$*# rules for not notificating her absence to the authorities, and she tells me her daughter is happy at home doing all the house chores WTF

Eh, maybe check something like that with the school board? But don't think doing chores should be the way to go. :( If the kid's really unhappy at school, maybe they, as in the parents, can find out why? Or look for another school? Or maybe homeschooling if they're into that and if that's even possible in Spain...

But just laying that on you is quite a lot... O.x

Yeah, I had been talking to the school board about this. Even before this conversation.
I had been talking to the mom the last two months, cause aparently the kid suffers anxious breakouts when she comes to the high school.
Apparently.
We don't have any medical report.
And we haven't seen any of said breakouts, because the kid says she does not want to come in and the mom does not want to "force" her.

We are having a lot of cases of anxiety (I blame the whole covid situation!) and most of the families are super colaborative.
You want to help those kids to find a way to come to school. Even if it's not the whole day, even if they must leave the classroom sometimes. Pushing just a little bit so they get the feeling of improvement, but not so much that if feels like an imposition.
It's a difficult balance, and most families do their best.

Others just don't.
Ok, the girl says she's anxious, and the mother response is "but at home she's fine, and she's not a lazy girl, she's doing all the house chores".
WTF.
You're not helping her recovering, you are taking advantage of her feeling unwell!!! >_<

No, homeschooling is not an option here.
You must be in school at least until you are 16 - which is a lot imho but that's the law and I'm not breaking it.
