So one of my other coworkers was just in a meeting with my supervisor and the ceo in the boardroom and i only caught snippets but it sounded…ominous…8U it SOUNDED like they were letting her go but i can’t be sure because i was only hearing snippets…>n< which is making me scared lol. I mean, its not like i have many qualifications to begin with so if they’re gonna boot someone, as one of the newest employees, i thought it would be me…i mean, maybe she’s just not malleable enough? 8U like i just do what I’m told and do nothing else unless I’m told to do so. I dunno how it is on her end, all i know was that when i first started, she had been gone for a month or so because she was in Columbia after her mother passed away from cancer while she was visiting there.

I just hope i don’t get HER job because then I’d become more involved in the company and I’d rather stay out in the fringes in reception instead of delving into things like…purchasing stuff and dealing with accounts and the like. Also, i might end up talking MORE on the phone in her position than if i were in THIS currently position. Anyways, I’m just in my little outer reception section, shaking in my boots lol.

Yeah? XD;; i started like…December or something? So yeah 2 months.

But i think the lady who’s POSSIBLY getting let go, she’s always coming in past 8am, almost 9am. Originally, i thought it was normal, i haven’t known her for very long, maybe about a month or more, so i just assumed she had special considerations, like family obligations, and her start time was at 9am. Now, i think that’s not true, that she’s actually supposed to be here at 8 like the rest of the office staff should be, but she was just late. Every. Single. Day. And i swear she goes out for 2-3 coffee breaks in a day…8U we have a Tim hortons just next door so its barely a 5min walk but….that’s a lot of coffee breaks. I mean, if you’re thinking it like using your half hour lunch break and parsing it out into several breaks…i dunno,…..D:

Speaking of her now, its almost 8:30 and she’s still not in. Lol. I just assumed she started at a different time, lol.

I just assumed it was normal, like maybe she started at 9am or something. anyways, she was talking to the COO in the morning while i was working elsewhere and she was saying how she came from old money and how she knows about how certain things work and yaddayaddayadda and assuming she thinks her qualifications are high (I’m not sure tbh, maybe she DOES have higher qualifications and yet she can’t use any of them here doing menial office work) and I’m like thinking “well if you’re from ‘old money’, what are you doing here?” I think maybe she has a teensy bit of ego/arrogance and maybe she kinda looks down at this job.

And i know i don’t have much in qualifications so I’m just happy doing whatever so i don’t really care WHAT she thinks about the job…xD;; all i care is that I’m getting paid and i have money…8U

Yup, i heard it say exactly that lol. XD;; so yes, i suppose it IS still a term being used. XD
But yeah, i dunno, maybe its bc i don’t do much (and i don’t have much qualifications so I’m not complaining) but i think the job is nice? I dunno, I’m def not complaining about doing nothing all day. XD;;
