Yesterday I spent hours making the cage ready.
I agreed to meet the breeder today, in a few hours. I'm super excited!

Yes, I think that's the choice that comes naturally hence it's "easy".
I mean, choosing to starve can't be easy, but choosing to let a kid starve seems even harder!

They seem to have interest in each other, sniffling each other from very early.

I never wanted to be a mother and have kids, but I find I have motherly instincts.
I call them big sister instincts, though xD
But I find things like this interesting.
It's in someone's nature to want to suffer instead of a child but that could really mess things up.
It's interesting that those types of situations exist and neither seem to be right :\

Yes, I think they both really want to know each other, which is very nice.

I was not sure whether Ricky would be delighted to have some company or would reject Peque at first, but it seem like he's really happy of seeing him.
So far only thru the wiremesh, I'm gonna play safe and let them get used before I even try to fully introduce them.

And I thought I had learned to handle gerbils, but apparently it was Ricky who had learned to handle humans... because Peque is so hard to catch!
He runs, he flies, he's a gerbil rocket!!! :ql:

The Flying Gerbil 8u

I was sitting with Momo last night and my sister swept her room.
She took the broom handle and gently placed it on Momo's head.
Momo then meowed aggressively as a response xD

He is! A flying gerbil!
I should record him, but I do need both my hands to try to grab him XD

His colors are lovely though. My son says his red eyes are hypnotizing :mclaugh:

I'm planning on removing the wiremesh on Saturday, so hopefully they'll be able to play together soon :mccute:



I would also respond agreesively if someone placed a broom on my head, no matter how gently.
And I would even consider scratching!

Well, Momo is always aggressive.
I pointed at Dooty-do, Sabre, then at her and said "Asshole >8u/ Asshole >8u/ Biggest asshole >8u/" and she yowled at me as a response xD
I love her, though.
Momo is definitely my baby.

Aww that's so sweet!


Today my little ones spent the whole day in nests they made with the material I gave them.
They look so cute when they lean out from their nest, little head out looking at everything with curiosity.
