I have just finished the book number 19: Feet of Clay.
Hopefully in a few months I'll get the following one.

Ooooh, I haven't read Feet of Clay in a while. Maybe I'll pick up that book next!

I always felt that the Watch subseries is one of the most confusing ones, but there are so many characters I love in them.
Vetinari is just great.
And I have my heart set on Angua and her relationship with the impossible Carrot

And what's the name of the scruffy little street dog who talks? And is so cynical? Isn't he mostly a character in the Watch series?

Nobby Nobbs and his Certificate proving he's a human makes me crack up every time.

He's funny. Only an small appearence in this book. Was much more amusing in Men at Arms.

His relation with the cream of society was - to say the least - full of contrast

Ha ha ha ha, yessss. I forgot that was in that book!
Dorfl's poor head I remember. That was such a vivid scene, it really made an impact (no pun intended. Poor head!) But I forgot about Nobby's debut as a nob.


The thing with the receipt, though. That was.... Vimes was so casual about it. Just, "Oh, I know, it'll be real for him if I do this" and then.... yeah.

Finished The Screwtape Letters last night. It was very entertaining and also somehow a commentary on society. I felt targetted, lol.
Anyways, one more book and I might actually reach my set goal.

I have just read a (short) book of cat-related (short) stories.
Not bad premises but none of the stories was great either.

I also wanted a paperback book to go to the beach (I don't bring my kindle there, just in case) and I decided one titled Mortgages and Equations was a light enough read
Haven't read much, only general economical history so far.

Other than that I keep reading the book on Therapeutical feminism, but I'm a bit stuck with this one.
I mean, it's more a self-help book than a work based on feminism, so maybe I'm a bit disappointed.
I keep going, slowly but I do.

Now I want to choose another book.
I need to have some kind of fiction between my reads.

I have no idea which one I'll start next. I'm torn. I feel I haven't read a fantasy novel for too long, but I don't feel like reading one in English, and that's what I have on my list. I think I might go for the Slavic demonology by Baranowski.

Mortgages and equations? You're too intelectual for me, lol.

Well, the word therapeutical is the key. Although the title does suggest some kind of essay on the role of feminism in modern therapy or in therapeutical methods.

Are is it a must that you follow the list?
I mean, these challenges feel better when they are... guidelines.

(Hmmm... The word "guidelines" makes me think of Jack Sparrow, huh.)



I would not say I'm intelectual, really xD
And more often than not I stay away from technical reads, I just want to relax.
But these are topics related to my job, so it's an interesting read for me.


Well, I was expecting to read a book about how a feminist point of view can be applied to self-care.
Instead (and so far, might be different in next chapters) I'm finding a series of writing exercises and somemention here and there to patriarchy. Feels very disconnected.

Actually I think I may share some of the exercises with you in the forum later...
