Fog makes things quieter. The air is thicker so the sound doesn't move as easy. It's very interesting.

The head chef guy today, he says we’re discontinuing the handmade cheesecakes and asked if i would like some. XD i’m def taking some when i go home lol. Might take another to add to my little box later. I like free food. C:

The price of groceries has gone up ridiculously lately. I hate capitalism.

the fog cleared up in the afternoon. and i got my free cheesecake. although now, my greedy parents complained i should've gotten the larger ones instead of the medium sized one. they've had a taste and now want more. 8u lol

tbh, i don't like looking a gift horse in the mouth. i'm the cautious type which is why i went small instead of took a big one. the head of the kitchen staff was the one who gave me permission to get some freebies but he's not like the boss boss of the entire company. and i work with the boss boss. like what if he catches me and goes "if you want something, you should pay for it, not wait til it goes in the donation bin"

i'll check again tomorrow to see if there are any more of those medium sized ones and see if i can snatch it too. my parents can tell that the cheesecake is like legit cheese, and not that "watered down" version where there's not much cheese used to make the cheese cake. its like really rich and thick and hard. not like......fluffy cake more than cheese. xD

we "waste" so much food every day here. 8u we get bakery deliveries every day the retail store is open so breads and pastries and pies. but like.......do we even manage to sell all that by the end of the day? nopeeeeeeee. we switch out the day old bread with new bread. 8u and then it all gets thrown to the food bank. at least the nearby local food bank will be well stocked i guess. i wonder if i should snatch some bread tomorrow as well. xD;; we only get sourdough bread on thursdays and i kinda wanted to try and see if the sourdough we get is any good.

Do you guys have a law or rule up there against donating the older food to the homeless? Places here have rules against donating/giving their stuff to the homeless. And they even put pad locks on their dumpsters... =/

All that wasted food could be going to people who are going hungry. =/

They said that their place donates to food banks.

I do hate the companies that refuse to donate their extra unused stuff to the poorest. It sucks.

There's so much free stuff if you're able to dumpster dive. I wish I was able to.

no? i don't think so? i know that every thanksgiving, there's a place that hands out whole turkeys. 8u so i dunno, ive never seen any law against donating food to the homeless. i'm sure a lot of food gets donated to food banks and homeless shelters here.
