Buy the same one he likes from the restaurant?
There's not an infinity kind of broth and if he likes say, miso ramen, from the restaurant, buying instant miso ramen shouldn't be that different.
Also in most packages the broth and the noodles are packed separately so nothing stops you from making both separately.

That's a good point. I've seen him eat tonkatsu ramen so I'll see if I can find broth for that.

For instant ramen, did y'all know that was meant to be the base and you added stuff or didja grow up poor like me and everyone else I know?

My grandmother also used to use them as noodles for soup if she didn't have any. She would just bash them up while they were still in the package, pull out the flavor packet, and add them to the soup she was making.

We used to just buy the super generic packets of just noodles and a flavor packet that were top ramen or maruchan. They were like 10-25 cents a package for my entire childhood.

If you're looking for better stuff I've heard ichiban is a step up from that.

i don't remember what kind of ramen it was........just remembered how spicy it was. XD my sister likes to try new flavors and somehow always ends up buying lots of spicy flavored stuff. xD
