I used to write by hand, and then a classmate stole my notebook once and read everything. I was mortified. Now I only type.

Nah, i usually keep my writing notebooks at home. I MAY take one out sometimes but its very rarely. Especially these days, when there are smart devices and you can just easily type everything out. Still i like the feel of writing by hand.

That's fair! Now that everyone usually has a phone or tablet handy when out and about it makes no sense to bring a notebook with you.

Yeah trudat. And a small device with a digital notepad is much easier and lighter to carry around than a pen/pencil/eraser and notepad. XD and if you only have a small bag or purse, it’ll be hard to fit a notebook unless it’s super small.

That is true, plus pens sometimes dry out or run out of ink and pencils break or run out of lead.

Indeed. So you’d have to bring THOSE as well just in case. Or like extra pens and pencils. And then you start running out of room in your purse. XD;;
